Dislikes

Campus is not lavish ,sometimes feels very crowded
Canteen food can be better. Another canteen can be added
Labs can be a bit better and more lifts should be there

Course Curriculum Overview

Data science is obviously a booming field ,always liked maths and computers so thought this would be a good course for me ,,may be a little focus on practical knowledge can be encouraged other than the theoretical

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Interships are provided in summers by the college but i have heard that a fees is taken for that by tbe college for that things , also inter ships are provided in big tech companies after 4th year if someone dont get a full fledged job he she can get a good internship

Placement Experience

The average placement is around 5lpa for on campus many students have also secured above 1lpa packages also this year along with many getting off campus placements in big companies like google and american express

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fees is 192000. Gradually it will decrease every year by around 10000.it will becone 180000 in 2nd year . For categories there is rebate in college fees .The college is a minority college but i dont think there is rebate in fees based on that.

Campus Life

Many socities are there more than thirty socities in total in every field like tech, music, dancing, singing, environment all of that is available.Jash e freshers is a freshers party organised for the freshers by the college

Admission

Got into this college by ggsipu counselling through jee mains rank percentile between 75-85 is good to get a seat in this college . For the sikhs adnissions are done at even less percentile.I also would have got electronics at a better ip college but priority was a computer science stream thats why opted for it

Faculty

Faculty is good and supportive they understand student problem,also well qualified.there are two midsems in one semester and a endsem,the curriculum is a bit vast in first semester ,have to deal with it ,

Night Life

The area is nice just near the college is pacific mall a great hangout place along with many restaurants and cafes and another famous place is the ram ke choley bhature only 2 km aways from college. area is safe and many parks are also ther around the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

Placement Experience:

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung,xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Honest college review by a fresher

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. MY COLLEGE LIFE AND EXPERIENCE

Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there. Frequency and timings of exam is medium on their difficultly level.
