Remarks

1. It was close to my home, hence easy to travel2. Placements were good3. Being a Sikh, culture issue would not be a problem as being surrounded my like minded people4. Had few other seniors who were studying in the same college and got good packages.5. Faculty is very nice and goes extra mile to help you6. Attendance isn't an issue7. Luckily got good placements at the end of graduation

Faculty is very well versed in what they teachCourse curriculum is maintained by GGSIPUMore could be focussed on actual technical skills rather than cramming up but sadly this is the situation of all collegesLabs are fully equipped with all the apparatusExams were fairly easy. Although it depends upon person to person.

Internships Opportunities

Have to find internship on your own.I got a front end internship in a startup. College generally provides no help in getting an internship.Although references of faculties may work in some case.Most of the students go for advanced java or some language training.

Placement Experience

On campus placement is fairly good for CSE and IT. ECE & EEE is not that great.You can expexct Infosys, Sapient, Amazon, Samsung, HCL and various other companies to come.Highest package was around 14LPAAverage is 3LPAMost of CSE and IT got placed.Can't say about ECE & EEE

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2013 Total fee per year (2 semesters) was Being a sikh, I got MOMA Scholarship which is for minoroties hence got some percentage of tuition fee refunded every year.There was a programme running which got people selected an internship to NASA at that time.On campus placement is fairly good for CSE and IT. ECE & EEE is not that great.You can expexct Infosys, Sapient, Amazon, Samsung, HCL and various other companies to come.

Campus Life

Life is awesome at GTBIT.No attendance pressure.Like minded people all around.Fest is organised every year.You get to see famous singers.Tech challenges and various events are organised.There's a Bhangra and Bollywood dance crew as well.Library holds almost all of the books required for sessionals.Classrooms have projectors.Labs have decent computers.

Are off campuses worth the DU hype

Placement Experience:

Placements cell works for the placements but gets bare minimum or very low profile courses. Students become eligible to apply in third year. I dont have the data because I didn't apply for the placements. Avg package is around 400000 that also in low profile jobs. % of students placed is also very low. My plans after the degree is to either pursue MBA from tier 1 college or continue/start a business/family business as it is best time in india to pick pace

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom hons because i was interested in commerce and here too they provide top level learning. With computers they teach us excel and everything and its really nice in this technical era that we are continuously learnibg and learning. I even joined my internship and there too i used all my learnings from college. So overall i love this as i can focus on other things too

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. MY COLLEGE LIFE AND EXPERIENCE

Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there.
