Firstly I like my college it has big building free environment for study
It has big playground for playing and it provide opportunities to play at national level
The faculty staff if more and the teach very well

Dislikes

In some classroom A.C is not present we face very difficulty in summer season
In our college Indoor ground is not present for playing badminton
In our college no gymnasium is present for excercise

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college the exam timing is 2.5 hours For 50 marks paper And paper pattern is 10 marks objective and 40 marks subjective The paper is checked in our college And set in university And teachers teach on projector

Internships Opportunities

Our college provide internship opportunities at Rajat biotechnology industry. And at CSK palampur. At 4th year . Intership opportunities time is 1 month and it provide south tour and it provide best facilities

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is paid by semester wise Amount of scholarship or financial aid is 10000 to 2.5 lack And the fess relaxation for my batchmate acoording to categories Tution fees is 50000 Lab fess 1500 And registration fees is 2000

Campus Life

My overall experience is good I go national for volleyball. And I win gold medal at university level And in our college library is present Where all book are present where we study very easily It is very helpful to me

Admission

I choose this college firstly it is Government college and it is very good college And in our college addmission is based on two bases First on Test bases and second is on Percentage bases Eligible candidate apply

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is 16:1 My favourite faculties is Dr. Reena because they do’t compare one student to another In her eyes all students are equal And the faculties that I didn’t like That is Dr. Vivek

Night Life

In nightlife we can play badminton In our college lights is present in our badminton ground for playing badminton at night And two courts is present in our college And me and my friend play badminton daily

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.
