Remarks

Well, all I will say is even the girls college can be fun. Positive vibes come from the environment of the college. There is an annual trip which is also planned by the student council every year. The trip is decided by the student council by giving option to the students. There are educational trips as well as one day trips for every department too.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum was good. We studied various subjects in detail. The concept of choosing one subject on our own from another stream in the college make us learn diverse things. Like I took statistics as my fourth subject in second semester and this was very good.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internship but I haven't done it. Though my friends did it. There was no stipend but the experience they gained from that internship was much valuable than that stipend. The internship involved an internship project wherein the teacher guides on how to go for the procedure from the basic to the final one. An internship certificate is so provided.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a placement cell in the college. The placement of the college is very good specially for the four year program which are there. Various companies come and the job opportunities are quite good.

College Events

5

Many events are celebrated in the college ( though I don't even remember the number exactly). But it's like in every one or two weeks one of the department has an event. We celebrate every festival. There is Saraswati Pooja, holi is celebrated, Diwali mela and much more.Sports day is also organized. Each department has it's own fest and fresher party. Yes, there is annual fest as well known as "Karvaan". The best time of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends on the course which you're in. It's same as that of the other colleges in Delhi University. The fee is feasible and worth enough since you're studying the best and having a lot more experience than others. Experiments other than from our curriculum are also performed for extra knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship or loan facility as far as I know is not there. But there is fee concession thing which can be availed by the students having annual income of a particular range ( don't know it since I didn't applied for it). A proper form is filled by the students for the fee concession and then an interview kind of a thing takes place after which the concession is given to the students.

Campus Life

5

Well, the extracurricular are awesome. Many activities are there in the college. There is a gym too. Laboratories are large enough to have all the students and the equipments required to perform the experiment are also apt. Sports day is celebrated in which different colleges take part. Yoga day is also there.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Well, I was a regular student so don't know much about it but I have friends who lived in hostel. The hostel is very near to college infact its in the college campus only. The three meals are provided to the students on definite time. The infrastructure is good and the room is sharing. There is a medical room in the hostel too.

Alumni/Alumna

Well, we have an alumni what's app group which is very helpful as we are connected to teachers there. They can guide us there and also tell us about the various things which we can do in our career.Senior students were helpful.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as that of the other colleges in Delhi University. There is a semester system for the three years. We have exams in December and May in a year. We have external as well as internal practical exams.

Admission

I got 89% in class 12th and I was having physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics as my main subjects in 12th class. The merit list was 92% at that time and there was a relaxation of 3% for the students having mathematics with biology and thus got an admission in the course. The admission procedure was simple. We just filled a form in the library, the procedure of which was guided by the college teacher itself.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is well qualified. Every teacher wants to make students as much as they can by different means like by giving presentations, videos , etc. The teacher also focussed on the overall development of the students by giving topics for presenting in the class which helps us to gain a lot of confidence.Teacher are helpful, friendly and kind too.

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
