- Campus is very beautiful and Greenery is maintained
- Cheaper than other engineering college and affordable
- Security and anti ragging atmosphere so ragging is a punishable offence here
Dislikes
- Classroom are outdated and old fashioned
- No wifi connection and internet is really slow
- Not having proper clubs and hackathon in the college
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is average in my pov because I think they focus on theoretical knowledge rather than pratical knowledge. Coding should be more encourage in the college and students should focus on being skilled
Internships Opportunities
You will have to apply off campus if you want better opportunity for internship with stipend. Here , you will have to pay money to do internship The placement and internship are very bad here , only if you are an exceptional student , you can crack off campus internship
Placement Experience
You can apply for internship from 3rd year . The highest package was 8 lakh per annum but average package is just 4lakh or less. The percentage of students getting the placement is 60 percent. If you work hard , you will crack the placement
Fees and Financial Aid
My 1st year fees was 1 lakh 60 thousand including the hostel fees , the total fees of this college was 3 lakh 70 thousand but last year they exceed the fees to 4 lakh 30 thousand rupees. If you are from jharkhand , you can apply for ekalyan scholarship
Campus Life
There is only one fest that happens in the month of May. The basket ball club is very active If you are into football , cricket and basketball. You will get proper clubs here , but no proper clubs for other games
Hostel Facilities
If you are in girls hostel , you are not allowed to leave campus in civil dress. You have to enter hostel at 6 pm sharp , no food delivery reciving after 9 pm in the night Meal is very average , breakfast is good but lunch and dinner are worst
Admission
My jee main percentile was 50 , it was really low and I couldn't go to any government college. When I came for admission through a cousin who study in this college too , they just give me admission without any jee main rank card. I got direct admission
Faculty
There are 10 teachers to one student ratio , faculty is very active here if you attend the class regularly. Proper notes are uploaded in the Google classroom The faculty of Electrical engineering and maths are my favourite. They know how to encourage the students Physics faculty are biased and give marks based on caste and religion There are 4 CAs conducted my makaut
Interview Experience
Nope , you just have to visit the adminstration office in my college. They will give you admission without any rank card. No jee main percentile or wbjee percentile is needed here , it's stupid I know but it is what it is
Night Life
There is one gym for girls and boys separate but no gym trainer. One cafe in the campus with one grocery store too. The campus time is from 9:30 to 6 pm Gym opens from 4 pm to 6 pm Hostel closes from 6pm
