Some programs in the college which are good for learning like nss, robotics, nss full form is national service scheme which is also good for average students..for Curriculum activities is necessary for overall growth

The placement for Bengal college of engineering is moderate.for engineering students placement is not easy for computer, information technology,but it is easy for core branch like mechanical, civil and electrical students

Fees and Financial Aid

Bengal college of engineering and technology is situated in west bengal . The fee structure of different courses is different..like bca fee is 23450 per semester and it's same for bba, paramedical, polytechnic and so on...the fee of my course which is civil engineering is 45000 per semester.

Campus Life

Our campus environment is fantastic..one big playground which is very large for playing cricket match for both boys and girls..some students who played indore games like chess,table tenis etc..so overall our campus environment is fantastic

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good ..like light is available in all time but the condition of mess is not good .which is very small .the quality of food which is provided by college is not good for students just average

Hostel Fee: INR 27000 per year

Admission

I chose this collection because the fee structure of the college is moderate...our college is a semi government college and the name is related to west Bengal so this is good. admission process is tough, and not easy.

Faculty

I am from civil engineering so I tell us about civil ..maths teacher is good and her way of teaching is fantastic..some teacher like survey,highway is also good ...lab for civil students is necessary like open field for observation..

Night Life

The night life of college students is fantastic.because I live in hostel room .when I remember those days I fall out for old memories..we slept 11 pm but in Saturday night there are lot of fun of in hostel

Practical edge across depths

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements . TCS, Capgemini, EY , Amazon etc offers varies from 1-2 lpa Highest paid was 12 lpa and average is 1-2lpa According to google 90-98 % students were placed. I am planning to sit for placement and get a job

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves. Faculties don't help us properly. And for admission you have to give WB JEE entrance exam. Other than that nothing. Also you can have a direct admission....Read More
