Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course of bcom honours is pretty good and comprehensive. I chose this because of my interest in finance and business. And I would it is worth it as apart from theoretical concepts it involve practical components like financial management, business mathematics, tally, business statistics as well. All of this does prepare for real world.

Internships Opportunities

4

Again it differs from course to course. For bcom hons students interships come in second year and are usually for the post of analyst. Stipend differs from company to company but is usually good as compared to open market stipend.

Placement Experience

5

The placement cell at college is actually great. Big companies come to college with great packages. Although it also depends on course to course. Every company has its own eligibility. Companies like Accenture, HUl, Barclays and many more have come to LSR.

Fees and Financial Aid

For BCom Honours I paid around Rs 26000 in first year, around Rs22000 in Second year and will be paying in the same bracket for third year as well. There are no other payments to college throughout out the year except this only examination fee of each semester is paid which ranges from Rs1500- Rs2000. The fees of other courses is more or less the same. Everyone year fee scholarship is also available for economically weaker students.

Campus Life

5

The overall experience has been good. There are variety of societies in LSR from enactus to entrepreneurship cell to various student initiatives as well. The library at LSR is big and has almost everything and computers also allows us to check where a particular book is. One infrastructure problem I would have is I doesn't have air conditioning in classrooms which is bad for summers. Classrooms are big enough and even projectors are there in almost every room.

Admission

Well I applied for delhi university only. My preference was no LSR it was SRCC. But as per my CUET scores I got LSR. Initially I thought I will not be able to adjust in a all girls college but it's pretty good. I chose this due to its ranking and placement ratio among everything.

Faculty

5

The most of the faculty at LSR is great and experienced. Everyone is really helpful and knowledgeable. They are pretty flexible as well like for assesment test and presentations we are always asked what topic we prefer, what dates we prefer and many more. So in a semester there are 7 subjects that include 3 core subjects, 1 general elective, 1 Value added course, 1 skill enhancement course and 1 ablity enhancement course. At LSR most of the students pass and level of exam is usually moderate but sometimes it is very hard.

Night Life

2

There is no nightlife in LSR. Its hostel is not currently operational so we have to leave college after 6:00 pm. It does have open gym but I do wish there was a normal gym as well. Cafeteria is pretty affordable and has yummy food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Placements are pretty much above average in our college, better than many of the off campuses colleges as well as some of the South campuses colleges. * students are eligible for campus placements from the very beginning of their college. From the first year itself. * Companies such as Delloite, Genpact, KPMG and many more tier A, tier B and tier C companies visits to our campus. *Highest Package is 21 laks PA * Average is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs * Being in the placement cell i can assure you that there are n number of profiles offered. * Obviously planning to getting placed through the college itself.
