Course Curriculum Overview

4

As for the relevance of the course curriculum, I find it somewhat relevant in the first year . while the content aligns with the basics of the field it could be improved as we progress to ensure that it remains challenging and prepares students for more advanced topics in later years

Internships Opportunities

2

Since I'm in my first year so I don't know much about the internship opportunities but by seeing my seniors I can say that if you have good skills like web development Good coding skill you will definitely have an internship . The Internship is not that much great in my college but yes you will able to get outdoor internships if you apply.

Placement Experience

3

As a first year student I dont have direct experience with campus placement but according to my seniors student become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th or 6th semester depending on the college placement Guidelines. As I am in my first year I'm still far from reaching this stage but it's something I'm looking forward to . I don't have complete information about specific companies or the exact number of offers its common for top colleges to visit for various tech giants startups. Many companies offer sport technical and non technical roles but the specific profile and the number of offers made typically depend on the industry and the course specialization. The highest offer made this year is from AIML which is 25lakhs. And average is 5lakhs. Since I am still in my first year I havent seen many students form my batch Receive placements yet But I have heard that the placement varies across years. As for my plans after completing the course if Campus placement doesnt work out for me I am considering pursuing further studies in fields like MBA ,Artificial intelligence. And I will also look for internships and job opportunities in the tech industries to gain work experience and improve my career prospects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of my course is relatively managebale. As a student in the general category , I pay annual tuition fees of 161000 rupees. In addition there are lab and develpment fees of 1200 rupees, registration fees of 500 rupees , and exam fees of 1200 rupees per semester. Over the four year course the total fees iam gonna pay is 6,05,000 rupees. It's worth mentioning that the tuition fee initially decreases before gradually increasing during the later years of the course. For students in the TFW category, the total fees are sinificantly very less. In this category, the total fees for all 4 years are 2,18,000 making it an excellent oppourtunity for deserving students. The college also offers several scholarships like SVMCM and Aikyashree are available which are based on merit and need. Overall the fees structure is well structured , with clear categories manageable increases and excellent scholarship opportunities making education more accessible for a wide range of students.

Campus Life

3

Campus live at my college is not that excellent but it is decent it has a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities, contributing to both personal and professional development. The college hosts several notable festivals such as EDGE organized by Geekonix Club and Anakhroonsh by the Anakhrosh club. These events typically happen annually and are highlight of student life. There are multiple club like Geekonix Samarth etc. In which geekonix Technical club and Samarth is an educational club which will help you in your 4 year journey. My college infrastructure is very decent the library is very small there is no perfect ground for sports no common room no gym and also no postal facilities. The sports an extracurricular activities are very good in my college because the sports club organized many various events for you to get exposure into college. Overall the campus offers a healthy mix of academic sports cultural and social activities making it a very good environment for personal growth and holistic development.

Admission

I chose this college because of my WBJEE rank which aligned with the admission requirements for the institution. My colleague ranked among the top five best colleges in West London which made it an appealing choice. The quality of education reputation and competitive nature of the college stood out to me. When compared to other colleges I applied to my college offer a comprehensive course curriculum that aligns well with my academic course. The faculties expertise although needing some improvements in terms of approachability is solid and the college provides ample student engagement though clubs and societies. However some other colleges I applied to might have better placement services or more Advanced Research opportunities. But ultimately the college academic reputation and my rank in WBJEE led me to choose this one over others. For the other colleges I believe my entrance exam results weren't up to mark. Despite having a strong academic background the entrance exam didn't go as planned which prevented me from gaining admission to some of other colleges I had applied to. Admission process at this college is based on merit and financial capability I entered through my WBJEE Rank while other students might have been admitted through management quota or financial aid which is also an option. Overall the process was straightforward but the Reliance on merit and financial can make it difficult for some student to gain admission without the necessary resourse.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio in my college is approx 1: 60. While the professors do answer some of your questions , they generally don take extra time outside of class for one-on-one support. This sometime makes it challenging for students to get personalized attention especially when struggling with complex topics. However there are faculty members I highly appreciate such as GSP sir ,DRC mam, PBG sir. Their teaching style is clear and engaging making them stand out in my experience. There are various course which are very good in my college. The exam structure consist of four internal exams of 25 marks . The best of two will bw considered. 5 Marks will bw awarded on your class attendence . The external exam is of total 70 marks. The practical exams are split into internal of 40 marks, external of 60 marks .

Night Life

2

The nightlife in my college is like zero percent because the college do not provide hostile cafeteria facilities you have to take your own expenses for your living. The college consists of two decent canteens you can only hangout In the college up to seven o'clock according to me

Other Applied Colleges

Techno Main Salt Lake | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Business Systems)

Because the rank which I got in my wbjee exam is required rank for the college.

Placement Experience:

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months
