Dislikes
- the teachers often donotb show much interest in teaching classes and the college staff is not upto standards for lab classes and mostly taken by jrf's.
- the college schedule is very hectic and time table of classes is not properly organized with long gaps and classes both early and late in day.
- The conditions of lab classes is very poor with most of the labs inoperable most of the times and overcrowded.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think the course currculum followed is not up to date with market scenario and is out dated .there should be more courses with real world applications and more technical courses should be introduced .The exams happens every month with end semester at the end with gap of a day or two between 2 exams.

Campus Life
Annual fest is Moksha it usually happens in march or april. range of books available in library is veryvast with both literature and technical books. The classrooms are bit outdated while there are some lecture halls are new and equipped with modern technology but they are limited and are overcrowded. There are a lot of societies which are generally ran by student groups . the sport facilities are good but there is a scarcity of sports equipments.
Admission
I applied to other colleges like Dtu but chose Nsut because of better placement records and better travel. Yes i also applied to iit d where i faced rejection as the cutoff was higher. The admission happens by Jac counselling ,counselling process is combined for igdtuw, dtu and iit d along with nsut.
Faculty
Faculty to student bratio per department is 1:80 Some of the faculties are approachable while some just straight away say that dont come bothering me . Sachin maheshwari of the mechanical department was a very good teacher he was very approachable and had vast knowledge. Faculty i didnot like was Dk Singh as he was not approachable and he lacked communication skills. There are 3 types of exams one is class test which is from partial syllabus which the faculty himself takes it happens twice per semester and is worth 20 % of the grade. second is the mid term exam is conducted once per semester and is of medium difficulty.is worth 20 percent of the grade . last exam is the end term exam with practical they both are 60% of the grade and is difficult with vast syllabus.
Night Life
The college generally closes around 6-7 pm and there are 2 main cafeterias the student center and amul . outside of college there is chill point which is the go to place for most students. being affordable and having close proximity to Nsut.
