Likes

The college infrastructure is awesome.The ambience of college is always good for students to concentrate on their studies.
The programs held in our colleges is always grand and awesome programs
Management always supports the sports activities of students.

Dislikes

Some maintanence work in buildings is required.
Allowing staffs to drive vehicles inside the campus.
Some college rules are very wierd.Always check on through CCTV camera.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is outdated from real world. Old sytems of automobile technology is in our syllabus.Upadation of syllabus is required. Make students more aware about the real world technology.The teaching method has to be changed. Reduce theory and add more lab sessions.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 47500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In a year 1 lakh is paid as fee. Before joining the college we have to pay caution deposit 10000.But this caution deposit is refundable.It will be over 4 lakh when the course id completed.For SC,ST students have some moderation in fees.

Campus Life

There are many technical festival are held in this college on the behave of many clubs.Technical festival are held only by students. The library is very good and have many rare books.Every student stay late in library for there research work.College always supports these activities.Class rooms are more technology advanced.All class room have smart tv for better learning.

Admission

I choose this college because i like automobile field.I didnt get rejection from another college because i didn't apply for it.My first attempt is this college and i got admission. Admission process is very simple try to crack KEAM entrance exam and have a good score you can get admission in this college

Faculty

The faculty in our department is good and very supportive.Always teach us about the new things. The course structure is very outdates.The sylabus has to be updated. The every semester three exam are held two series exam and one semester is held. Semester exam is conducted by the University itself. The result also published by University.

Night Life

In every friday from 6pm to 10.30 pm the students are allowed to conduct DJ programs. Gym,library are always opened for students. In college there is a place name 'Open Base' this is ghe place where students gather together and spend their time with different activities.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
