Course Curriculum Overview

3

The courses are really well and especially the lab courses are too good. And profesors are too good and interact with students. They never deny to answer any question. We can improve some courses and make them a bit more intresting.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many great companies and unicorns come here for hiring the students . And providing them internships. Like Google, amazon, etc. The projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks are they give some job related projects and see our skills for creativity.

Placement Experience

4

From 5th semester we are allowed for campus placements. Many tech and quant companies come for placements. Highest is about 4 crores.and average is about 50 lakhs More than 90 percent students get placements. To get in a big company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is about more than one lakh including the hostel fees, mess fees, and academics fees, as I am a stude of EWS PWD category. The academic fees of my batchmates of general category is more than 2 lakhs and other fees are same. The is some kind of relaxation of some percentage to EWS students. I am not having any scholarship till now.

Campus Life

4

The cultural fest is rondeveous. And tech fest is tryst. There is a big central library for academic books and a SAC Library for non academic books. Technological provisions are very good in classrooms. Sports and extracurricular activities are too good.

Hostel Facilities

4

We get a table chair bed almirah lights. The meal quality and menu is quite good Registration process is so easy for hostel and afoordability. If I rented a PG or room so it will be in a good place like CP

Admission

This is one of the best college of India. And it is my dream college. So it's so obvious that if I am getting this college so I will surely pickup this college. I didn't get a rejection from any college. We have to attempt JEE advanced and get a rank so that our college select us this is the admission process.

Faculty

3

The faculty is really well. There are same courses to all the students of first year of any branch. There are some necessary and some optional couses in upcoming years. The exam papers are designed by iit professors who teach us and these papers are somewhat kind of really hard. The exams are checked by TAs so it is uneven marking system.

Night Life

4

Every hostel have gym, library and campus have good cafeteria and nice public areas. Hostel have no such timings. Famous hangout places are biotech lawn. And main building nice locality and many other places.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. The average package is around 20 LPA and the highest package is 85 LPA. The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as **fairly comprehensive and reasonably relevant**, especially in terms of building a strong foundation in core engineering concepts. One of the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was the **structured curriculum covering important fundamentals such as programming, data structures, mathematics, and core engineering subjects**, which are essential for both technical roles and higher studies. The curriculum provides a solid theoretical base and helps develop analytical thinking, but for real-world applications students often need to complement it with **projects, internships, coding practice, and self-learning**, since some topics are still taught in a more traditional or theoretical way. In terms of improvements, the curriculum could benefit from **more industry-oriented electives, practical assignments, updated lab work, and interactive teaching methods such as case studies or project-based learning**. The exam system typically includes **two major exams per semester — a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam — along with internal assessments, quizzes, and assignments**. The exams are generally **moderate in difficulty**, and students who attend classes and prepare consistently are able to perform well, though the evaluation tends to focus more on conceptual understanding and written exams rather than purely practical skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked physics and applications of physics so chose mechanical engineering, as ut has a lot of application of physics directly can really see how things work not just ideally but actually Curriculum is really good besides getting assignments which noone takes seriously everyone just copies , there must be much more practical stuff so that everyone learns but we do get that in tech teams but not directly as a student in college. There must be practical teachings and proper guidance proper high level machineary must be there, industry visits must be there and internships in such companies must be encouraged There are 5 exams of 1.5 hour considered as mid sems and 6 exams of 3 hours considered as endsems

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
