The environment of our college is very good.
Our college gym is very good, there are many equipments.

Our college labs are like cage or something. There is always a dimish light.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a lust of technology. It sounds vulgar but In the era of AI. We have to capable of electronics hardware also to carry out the purpose. Here we go with Electronics and communication engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships based on cast and merit also. The most attractive scholarship is SVMCM you get 64 thousand per year basis in your 4 th year b.tech degree. Eligibility criteria is 60 % in H.S and every semester also

Campus Life

I am studying in 3 rd year now, I changed a lot through my campus life. There is a set of good experiences and bad experience. So, in journey to making a strong character it helps me a lot. And I learnt that you have to knowledgeable so we have a vast library to help you so,

Admission

I am a student with science background but not succeed to crack JEE mains ar WBJEE so, I applied to other University in Physics honours. But then I came to know about Swami Vivekanand university of science and technology and I get admission here

Faculty

Our college is under a university named MAULANA ABUL KALAM AJAD UNIVERSITY (MAKAUT). In every semester we have to go through MAKAUT'S examination system it's very tough. We have great teachers at profession and character also.

Night Life

In our surroundings we have more than enough hangout places. There is cafe named Doll's cafe the have a variety foods. Then a tea stall named Chottu's tea shop it is the best hang out place for most of the college students.

Placement in our college is descent . Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th Semester. For CSE/IT companies like TCS,CTS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc... come for the placements. For Core branches like EE,ECE,ME Companies like L &T ,samsung, TATA Steel etc...come for offers. The highest package is around 8 to 10 LPA and the average is around 4 to 5 LPA. 70% to 80% of RCCIIT generally get placed across varios department. My plan is to persue MS from abroad/.

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

Placement ratio of the college is very good, cadets start getting placements from 2nd year but majorly the mass placement process starts from 3rd year. The packages ranges from 400-1200 USD as an engine cadet. There are major companies such as CHEVRON, MSC, DYNAGAS, NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, PACIFIC BASIN, MOL, IOCL, ZODIAC MARITIME, TORM TANKERS, etc that visit the college for placements every year. For every batch the placement ratio is above 95%. This college is known for its placements and alumni network

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. Svist review

I have applied in du, gnit and got confirmed seats in du but due to family reasons I didn't make it in du. And in gnit i didn't got a seat in cse department as it was full but it was offering me aiml. Then there was svist which was closed to my house and was providing the course. I haven't scored enough marks to get in nit jadabpur they were offering civil engineering. Admission process was quite easy in this college you just have to pass through counseling....Read More

I also applied GNIT ( GURU NANAK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY), but I did not took there admission due to study quality, fees. I had applied for other colleges like Techno Main and many others but what attracted me to this college is something extraordinary. Before talking about the magnets of my college let's first get into "Why not the other one's?" 1. College fees was out of my reach. Yes, if I wanted to read there my parents could have surely afforded it for me, but with loans! Really blessed to have such parents ??. 2. The reviews that got my eyes.
