Their facilities to the children like water system
Library facilities are just perfect and books are available
Buses provided to students which are day scholars

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is bit difficult because we have 11 cousces per semester and it's hard to cover every subject These all courses are important for future aspects They should focus on digital teaching Time and frequency is perfect

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't think so they provide any intership to students so I want to appeal that please provide something to students and think about their future also it's there responsibility to give us all the facilities

Fees and Financial Aid

My registration fee for first semester was 25000 thousand but from onwards it is 10000 rupee and fee for other's is also same There are many scholarship are given to top ten students per year according to their cgp.

Campus Life

Foundation day , kisan mela's are held in our campus at intervals All ranges of books are available there sometimes of different courses also Students are taken to chitkara University for badminton tournament every year

Admission

I didn't applied for any other university or college because I just wanted to do bsc agriculture degree because I wanted to know about the agricultural practices and production in our country and love to do future

Faculty

Relationship between faculty and teacher are ok not that much better but ok Dr. Samantha from soil science department is best because he always provides bestest of his knowledge 2 exams are held per semester one is internal and other is external and they are difficult one practical exam also held

Night Life

Gym closes at 5:30 library at 5:30pm and Nescafe at 6:30 Hostels timing in summers is 8:30pm and 6:30 pm in winters for girls and for boys 9:30 at night Foa is bestest to sit in college campus and outside we can explore many things

Campus placements are happening very rarely Recently reliance bio energy Pvt Ltd, LIC,hdfc bank did placements drives in the university About 20 percent students get placed every year My plans after completing the degree is to persuive msc from the same university

This course is good but it has many subjects each semester we studies 10 subjects which are very difficult to gain knowledge so the subjects should be less and teachers always give ppt to students they make them and studied them on blackboard and exam duration they should provide a holiday

Golden days of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is actually preparing us how to become profitable in all the situations like during adverse weather conditions ,insect pest and diseases infestation,how to cope up with all the situations that can leads to decrease our yield.i personally choose this course to know the things that are happening in our daily life like knowing the reason of increase or decrease of income in agricultural fields ,use of pesticides, insecticides ,their quantity and specificity so that become less toxic to consume. The exams are quite easy but due to presence of alot of subjects no holiday is available during exams except Saturday and sunday

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always eager to study about plants and nature and when I studied about the SKUAST jammu i immediately appeared for the CET exam and scored the qualifying number for admission and chose the degree program of bsc hons horticulture and took the next step in my life to connect with plant world. This degree provides knowledge about agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, agrometrology and many more environmental and food related industries . This degree generates employment in various food sector like food processing industries , fruit cultivation , flower cultivation. And in my last year i have took the beekeeping as optional subjects which teaches about bee rearing and honey production. The difficulty level is moderate which a student if studies regularly can pass. The university should improve is education policy by including more practical work rather than theoretical work .

agriculture University with high potential for a great future

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course was the very best chance i had to get in a government college which ahd the best chance to get a decent job as this sector had good carrer opportunities curriculum was a little outdated as it gave a lot of insight on real word application theoretically but lacked practical application more practical and lab work could help curriculum and encouraging the faculty to teach with more interest the exams happen twice every semester also practical exam takes place as well the level of difficulty of exam was decent, didn't require much studying to pass and could easily score good grade if u are regular in class and study the night before exams

I applied to skuast - jammu. i cleared their entrance test and there i got rank 79 n i was getting subject of my chice so i selected this college I didnt got rejected from other college, i have cleared 3 entrance exam i,e skuast-jammu, SHAUTS- Allahabad, NAUNI - Uttrakhand but i was getting subject of my chice in jammu only, so i joined jammu One has to apply in university website, to fill the form when admission starts, after form filling which include all the edicational details,address, permanent address etc, after that u will receive admit card of exam date, one has to visit university to give exam after that when result comes one has to visit university for the counselling anf all furthder procedures...Read More

A comprehensive review of life at Faculty of Veterinary science, RS Pura, SKUAST-Jammu
