Good exposure for other students out of karnataka
Not only education there is a lot of place near by bmsce college to hangout with friends

Campus it too small for engineering students
mechanical branch has old classrooms that the drawing benches there are not in good conditions

I have heard that placement here is a pritty good becouse it is one of the top 2nd college all over karnataka and even one of the oldest one which has been established before freedom. Company which come here offers about 7lpa to 50lpa pacage

Campus Life

Campus is a bit small n verymuch small that u end up were you had started so its is very small one and here with engineering college theres even law college that has been joined togethers so because of this college campus is too small

Admission

I got this college through cet i had got about 24k ranking so i choosed industrial engineering and management to get into this college u must write kcet or through management management seat here is a bit costly

Faculty

Faculties are well experienced and well responsive. they make you feel more comfortable and helps is if any without any hesitations.Many teachers her are having about 45years experience and have mastered there teaching techinique in unique level.

Night Life

Yeah the locality near this college is pritty were everyone will be walking at even 12am in night where you can be safe to walk here but auto drivers are way too harsh be carefull of this many have a good experience here

Nit surathkal college life

Placement Experience:

Placement in terms of computer science and technology (cs) is very good with highest package of 50 lakhs per annum and avg package of 28Lpa but in other branch the avg package lies between 12-15 lakhs per annum

Value for money with decent faculty, placements a d campus life.

Placement Experience:

At BMSIT, students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester onwards. A good number of companies visit the campus every year, including Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Cisco, Amazon, and Dell, among others. The highest package in recent years has gone above ?30 LPA, while the average package usually stays around ?6–7 LPA for CSE students. Around 80% of students get placed, mostly in roles like software development, web development, data science, and AI/ML engineering. Personally, after completing my degree, I plan to sit for campus placements and aim for a role in software development. I also want to continue upskilling in advanced areas like full-stack and AI to grow my career further.

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .
