Faculty was good for my course they were very cooperative as well
College campus was good with greenery and new techniques to manage waste and other things

I choose this course because of my interest in this field and college also provides me the detail knowledge of course as well as makes me understand the aspects of society as well.the area are improvement is that they need to add more about Indian things.

Internships Opportunities

There were college ambassador intership which was coming aost everymonth to get some money in your hand as well by doing that intership there were some social work intership as well provided from college end

Fees and Financial Aid

I was paying around 19k-20k yearly and there was consensation in fee for the economically backward families . There was some merit based scholarship as well, there were seats reserved in hostels for the kashmir and north east students.

Campus Life

Annual fest of my college was held in December time all the students from every branch were together in the fest they also organise a music fest as well with dj night managing our safety as well with a reknown singer

Admission

I choose this college other than other as this college faculty was the best for my course as I heard from other colleges students as well. At my time I was got selected on the second meri list according to my percentage criteria.

Faculty

My course faculty was good and understanding they were very cooperative and was paying attention to everysingke essays and tutes they were giving to us they were giving there coments as well on your tutes and assignment where we need to improve what we have to add in it. Exams were quite tough as well but everyone manage to pass.

Night Life

Night life was also safe and good around my college as likely it was surrounded by all the upsc coaching so students were engaging there all the tym my favourite hangout place in my college was cafeteria as well as the library as they recently opened a new library which was giving the vibe of cafes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
