Mithibai college

The infrastructure of the college can be improved a little bit for sure. The canteen is super affordable and caters too all kinds of tastes. They have all cuisines and the food quality is also good. The tables and benches are comfortable.

The curriculum is comprehensive and yet friendly according to the needs of students. Exams are held each semester. There’s internal assessment (25 marks) and external assessment (75 marks). Exam procedure is also quite comprehensive.

The placement and job opportunities are good. Internship from companies like Morgan Stanley are also provided. The stipend is amazing. The process of the whole internship includes an aptitude test and 3 eliminatory rounds of interviews

Various festivals like Kshitij and colosseum are celebrated in the college. Other than that a lot of other activities and competitions take place. Kshitij is the biggest and the main festival where various colleges participate

The fee structure is extremely feasible. It’s really affordable. The fees for my course is ?18,000-20,000 per year, which is really affordable. It is a college for all kinds of students since the fees isn’t much

I haven’t availed any scholarship or loan facility from college. There’s quotas in my college which enable Gujarati and other communities to gain an admission but no kind of scholarship or loan facility is provided by Mithibai college

Many extracurricular activities like dance team, singing team etc are there in the college. For science students, there’s all kinds of labs provided like biology lab, physics lab, chemistry lab etc. there’s sports teams in Mithibai as well

I haven’t opted for a hostel. The college doesn’t provide any accommodation facilities. There are a few hostels right opposite and around the college which students can opt for. I lived at Brightyouth hostel for a year. It is a very good hostel with all kinds of facilities

The seniors are really friendly and helpful. They don’t treat us as juniors. They help us in festivals, in academics with our projects and presentations. They also provide us with all the information that we need regarding internships and placement

The admission is based on Merit. I got admission in Gujarati quota. The merit lists keep coming on the basis of cut off and as my name came in the 3rd list I had to go to Mithibai college and get my admission

The faculty is knowledgeable and thorough with their subjects. They use both visual and audio aide in order to make the subject more interesting and understandable. Their tool and techniques of teaching are really helpful
