Likes
- 1. Desk Bench, Sanitation, Toilets and College Lab
- It's quite good. We have relaxing area named as Brindavan which feeling is very positive.
- Infrastructure is Good. Also the faculty are good.
Dislikes
- Don't Like Lab. Equipments are poor. Don't have measure correct reading.
- Don't like the toilet. Specially boys toilet. Lack of cleanliness.
- Basically Number of girls are higher than number of boys. Girls are in majority.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually I don't want to do BSC i want to do Btech. But I can't crack the jee exam thats why I choose Bsc in Physics. I choose physics for honours because I love the subject most. Actually circulum is good from 2023. But marks oriented learning I don't like. Instead of focusing only theory we should focus on the practical aspects of the subjects. Difficulty level is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
1) This year fees is around 5000. 2) Registration Fees - 430 Faculty - 100 Enrollment Fees - 250 3) 4) Various scholarships like NSP, OBC etc. NSP price is 80000 per annum and OBC price is 30000 per annum
Campus Life
Various programmes held in our college. After the new admission freshers celebrated. Library is quite good. Various Books are easily found there. For sports and extra activities our college is moderate. We have a field and a indoor stadium in our college campus. No. But various students are associated with Aasu, atasu, Nss and ncc like associations
Admission
I only apply for gargaon college and Sivasagar university. And last i choose Gargaon College Because first time when I applied for college for BSC i don't want to do. Also gargaon college is very close from my home. No, I don't get rejection from any colleges. I choose Gargaon College from my own choice. Addmission process is both offline or online. Eligibility changes according to student apply and seat empty.
Faculty
The Faculty to student ratio is 1:10. Faculty student relationship is Good and many of them are easily approachable. My Favourite Faculty is Jayanta Sonowal. He is very supportive and encouraging. All faculties are good and like them all. Bit some teacher's classes are didn't like but it's completely relative. Only two main exam held in our college. First sessional and after that final examination of the semester. Sessional exams are pretty easy.
Night Life
We have a small gym. One canteen and library. They all are closed with college closing time. Only indoor stadium is open after 4 pm. Hostel campus is good. They are closed after 7 pm . No student is allow to go outside after 7 pm. Famous hangout place is Brindavan.
