The aspects is that I choose education course is to become a teacher..I have aim to become a teacher so for wishing my dream I choose that course which help me in filuture to become a teacher..the teaching methods are good

Campus Life

There are too many festival held in college first the freshers introduce program and saraswati puja ..in library most of the books are available.. technology is not good ..extra curriculum activities like sport week ncc etc students run social groups

Admission

I applied for guwahati university and got chance also but sldue to some financial problem I can't go there..no college rejected me because I did not applied to much college admission process is simple the eligibility for admission is u have 60% in ahsec

Faculty

There are lots of students in every department my department is education there are 24 students including me..the exam are 2 in a year ..10student fail to clear the exam. The exams are very difficult ..the facilities is good there are a indoor playground hostels library also

Night Life

Famous hangout spots are canteen bike stands under the trees in park..yes there is a gym and many students do exercise there..hostel is good maintain very good and every thing doing timely the locality is safe

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it
