This course is one of the toughest course same time if there's interest in this course it is the easiest course. There will be practical done to prepare you for the sea. The exams will be tough and it will be held on a room with cctv do don't think of malpractice. Till now there is no need for improvement in this course the student should understand this course and prepare him for this course. The students coming for this course by getting influenced by social media or adventure for them this course will not be suitable. It is only for who is really interested or marine background students. Its a good course.

BEST COLLEGE FOR MARINE RELATED FIELD IN TAMILNADU ALL FACILITIES ARE THERE. PLACEMENT IS BASED ON YOUR PERFORMANCE. Hostel and foods are good. Staffs are professional sailors. Fees are affordable compared to other colleges.

Overall I had a good experience in my college still inhave 1 sem remaining till now I had wonderful days in my college with My friends and staffs.there will be different events held like sports day,annual day,freshers day,maritime day, logistics day,and religion festival like pongal christmas ramzan onam everything will be celebrated on their respective month. I library it is full of Book which is related to studies like about ship and sea.some books like solas marpol are available at library. Inside the class there will be a projector with at tv and acupboard.class room will be nice. The college will support extracurricular activities they will send you for other colleges events to perform they will give their bus for travel. There is many clubs and groups for students wellfare like placement group, discipline clubabd for each department each club is there like for us NAUTICAL department in that they will conduct event every week for students to learn new things.

Its not about the rejection in other colleges it's about fees in tamilnadu compared to other colleges the cmc is best for studies in affordable fees. And also there will be imucet entrance exam the students have to clear that the they allow you to the college. For me it's about last rank in passed students still the cmc took me for studies they won't see rank. And like other colleges it's not 100 percent placement.placement is there if you are skilled and studying student the job is yours.and same the college infrastructure is also a reason for choosing this college it will be look like a ship very attractive and another reason is coimbatore climate near kerala so the climate Will be nice.

Faculty are friendly and experienced sailors. But this course is really a challenge for students because it's tougher then mbbs There is lot to study and it is one of the dangerous job. Till you left the job you have to study. But for that danger you will get that amount of salary.if you are not placed in college there is least chance for job outside the college. Its very tough to get job outside. In this job all is about your communication skills and your respect towards the seniors so for that from college itself you have to obey the seniors. They will teach you the discipline. Atlast this course is not for enjoying college life it's fully about your mental strength. Overall it is good for who is really interested in this job.

Group discussion will be done every week. There will be mock interview every week for final year and second year so that they can improve their communication and their self confidence. For admission students should pass the enterance exam and pcm should be sixty.

Hostel night life will not be like other colleges but it will be nice. Students can't go outside the college other than Sunday. But you can get permission from the hod for night outing that to for two to three hours. hostel gate will be closed at ten. Who all are in ground should come before ten.the campus timing is nine to four. The college has gym canteen library and a saloon for hair cut in marine college marine cut is compulsory. The gym has old equipment but it is enough for workout. The canteen will be small but it will be nice but the cost are high compared to outside. Outside the college there are many places to visit if there is one day outing you can roam coimbatore there are many mall and temples on another side there is Pollachi you can get a chance to see nature If there is two to three days shore leave you can visit Valparai it is really a nice place.other than that you can visit ooty If outside the tamilnadu the kerala is very near to coimbatore kerala is good for visit
