Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum of anthropology is very much connected to our human lives which I like to know more about and which influenced me choose this as my graduation course. We study biological , social and cultural, archaeological, and linguistic aspects of humans and thus do a holistic study of human which is very interesting. The toughness exams are of medium level The frequency and timing of exams is good like in every month we have internals and then after a month we have semester exams . So it's good that we are connected to studies and passing exams becomes easy.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship and field work opportunities are provided and are necessary to test and apply the knowledge of subject studied. Our college provides us good opportunities of internship to enhance understanding and to gain practical knowledge out of our courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees we pay here can be paid each semester for the first semester it is around 8000 and for second semester around 4000 every year till three years of the degree. Scholarships by central schemes and Chhattisgarh state scholarships are also provided based on merit and income, for example : central sector scholarships schemes and post matric scholarship Chhattisgarh state.. Apart from that Sudamama yojana is runned by our university to help financially weak students in our university.

Campus Life

4

Many event's and co cultural activities are organized frequently.. competitions are organized for students like Khelo Bharat . NCC is there , NSS is also available which students join and develop themselves into a responsible citizen. Tarang band which is a singing band and Abhinartan for acting and play is there in our university which helps students pursue the passion and explore the talents.

Admission

I wanted to study in my home state therefore from starting only I had decided to apply in GGV . So I gave CUET 2024 exam our results were announced in July and then I participated in GGV counselling and registered for it in GGV website. Then merit list was prepared and top students were called for offline Counselling was conducted smoothly , our professors interacted with us and told us about anthropology scope and career . Finally results came on the day of offline Counselling itself and this is how we got admission.

Faculty

5

Our faculty is very supportive , we freely ask them our doubts without any hesitation and they guide us gladly. There are internal exams assignments and semester exams which we need to pass to move in next semester. For that we need to study well . Average students can also pass semester exams .

Night Life

4

Students love to hangout with friends in cafeteria where they provide delicious food items like samosa , Patties , poori sabji , poha , sweets and all yumm. Cafes are there to have tea and coffee time with buddies where snacks are also available. Gym is opened everyday except weekends and holidays for fitness enthusiasts. Hostel Life is full of fun . Best hangout place is cafeteria , playground and garden infront of Nalanda central library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course and the advancement it's doing in present life . This course is quite demanding in present generation. The curriculum includes practical related to modern technology using living organisms for for human welfare for present and future generations. There are also seminars and webinars quite often . However the equipments are quite limited as the class strength is quite large due to which not all students get access to perform practical. Semester exam basically have 2 internals having a gap of two months each and then the final exam.the difficulty of exam is from easy to moderate.

Placement Experience:

The Office of Career Services works incredibly hard to get big names on campus. Whether you want to go into consulting, policy, or work with an NGO, the support is actually there. seeing companies like EY and ITC hire from us is a huge confidence boost. what i love most is how my seniors are doing everything from journalism to activism, and it makes me feel like i'm not stuck in one lane and can really build my own path.

Placement Experience:

When student are in final year they are eligible for placements with average package upto 3LPA. Placement companies visit like: ICICI Bank, Induslnd Bank, Nilon, Wipro, IIFL, Godrej etc. Percentage of student getting placement is 70% due to high competitions if you have skills then your placement is assured but in this field most of them hold placement who pursue BCA with good and avg. package. And I plan for MCA in future from NIT.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for a BSc in mathematics with computer science as one of the core subject. As the computer is highly demanded subject for placements. Faculties are not that good, some professors are good but some are very rude and doesn't even teach well. Fcaulty student ratio is very low. Almost around all faculty members have Phd degree so they all are very experienced. They teach well and clear doubt. But few teachers don't teach well so it depends on your luck which teacher you get. Semester exams take place in every six months, studying for semester exams is not difficult, study your class notes and do past 5-7 years paper whole heartedily and you will ace the exams. Yes but checking of the answer sheets is very strict so make sure you write well.
