Likes
- First thing which i like in my college is the educational environment and best teaching staff from all over the india.
- second thing is that it gave an opportunity to meet the people of various different state of India which led to a better quality of social interaction.
- 55:45 was the ratio of Boys : Girls. third thing is the quality of infrastructure and campus amenities like library, canteen and time to time fest occasion.
Dislikes
- there is a hostel in College but it is not available for north Indian students which i disliked and due to this the rooms and PG near college is so expensive which can't be affordable.
- quality of college infrastructure was so good but for arts students it was bad, classroom for arts students was not in good position and i remember a one incident in which a street dog sitting in classroom in between the lecture led to distraction.
- during my time college did not host its best fest called 'nexus'.
Course Curriculum Overview
i choose bachelor of arts because i am looking forward in this field in my career and also the experience and quality of faculty members. curriculum was prepares in a very professional way which is like stairs model from low level to high level.
Internships Opportunities
Sri Venkateshwara college is one the biggest college of the delhi university. it provide various courses since i was from BA course, so there was not a great chance for the internship opportunities for me. But college provide it to other streams of commerce and Science.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was graduate from Sri venkateshwara college of University of Delhi, which is one the best educational institution of the india. I was graduated in bachelors of arts in this college and i came from reserved category (SC). Fees structure BA - First year - SC - 11000 OBC - 12000 General - 13000 second year - SC - 12000 OBC - 13000 General - 14000 third year - SC - 13000 OBC - 14000 General - 15000
Campus Life
nexus is one of the biggest festival in all other delhi university colleges but due to covid restrictions during my graduation period college didn't host this festival. there was various clubs and societies in my college that organise various festival in every month. drama society of my college is best society in delhi university. there is a sports ground where various players practiced . Rishabh Pant, an indian cricketer, was the student of my college.
Admission
i apply in delhi university, in which my first preferance was hansraj college but there was no political science in that and that's why i choose sri venkateswara college as my second preferance because it is the best college of delhi university in south campus. no i didn't get any rejection. after 12th class mark cut off list came according to college and category for admission procedure.
Faculty
faculty to student ration is one teacher on thirty students. relationship between teacher and student was so good that any student can contact teacher on whatsapp group. I like vijay sir, he teach us political science and he was one of the best political brain , he has the ability to taught something difficult in a easy way. All faculty of college was good , there was no one that i dont like because everyone was best in his field. two semester wise exam in a year and they are of very high standards, apporximately every student clear the exam. the course curriculum is relevant to the day to day life which is very helpful.
Night Life
i was living near college in a rental room in satya niketan. satya niketan is a place where all the college students live because it is near to college , so it's like all students live together, we enjoy a lot, it was a safe and secure environment for students especially for girls students during day and night both.
