Likes

I like about the college is the playground area. Its really really amazing and peaceful sitting over there.
The buildings are quiet nicely structured. They are well maintained by the college.
The facultu of the college is way to nice. There are cooperative and understanding. Also , helps in making the concept easier.

Dislikes

The canteen food is way not good. Its not good most of the time.
The library is quiet small and has less spacing area. It doesn't contain all the books . And main thing is we cant take notes and books inside
There are no A.C. one is in the library but they don't switch it on and fans are also not working welly. Like its so conjested while attending the class or sitting in the classrooms.

Fees and Financial Aid

About our college , fees depends upon the course. Like it varies course to course. My course has the fee around 18,000 thousand of the first semester. It includes the seven subjects. Three our core subjects and other four are not core one.

Campus Life

There are so manu clubs in the gargi college like hindi debate club , english debate club , musical club , dance club , hip hop dance club , placement clubs etc etc. But to be honest there is no cooperation in the college. Despite of too many clubs in the college they dont give much information about them so its difficult for us to take a decision.

Admission

Classroom Environment : the classrooms are friendly but they are conjested. Organization and Pacing: the organization of management is there. Assessment and Feedback Overall Course Experience: it was kinda nice but there are many things which needs to be fixed

Faculty

Teacher and so polite and understanding: they make the concept easier. Availability of the teachers: the teachers try to mange their time for taking the class and try to solve our doubts more frequently. Our doubts are cleared via Artificial innovations

Night Life

Its not safe. As our college is girls college but the classes ends till 5 : 30 or 6: 00. So , its difficult to find the auto nearvy at that time. Classes canceled at any time by the teachers no matter what.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Placement Experience:

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

It is one of the best college of Delhi university among 10 colleges of the university for my course that is Geography honours. All the faculty members are of good nature and experienced in their subjects

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
