Likes
- The infrastructure is quite good. There are two buildings the one you will get from entering the first get is the administrative building and the second one is the science and technology building.
- Some professors are really good but some are not I mean and they there way of explaining things are not that much effective but what I really feel is scholars teach better than professors in our college
- Green environment of the college and the proximity to Hooghly river gives nice view from 8th floor
Dislikes
- Location of the college as it is in outskirts of the city of Kolkata so you have to travel a lot to explore places
- The first year hostel rooms are not really clean I request them to clean
- Canteen food is not really good as of general food we eat regular basis
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite well versed,it is not really that hard but needs basic understanding of class 11 and 12 courses for 1st year, it will be easy for those who have study there courses well. There are many labs and workshop as well as relation to industry that enhances practical application of what we study, that is the most important thing in engineering I think so For 1st year the end sem exams are of 3 hours and the mid sem exams are of 2 hours, the end exam are of 50 marks and mid sem are of 30 marks and the 20 Marks is teachers assessment.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunities are available in college from 1st year onwards but I suggest that it would be better to enjoy the college life in first year and it would be great to do it from 2nd year onwards.

Campus Life
Annual fests are Instro and Rebecca and lot more fun. Our college also have a central library named as Ramanujan central library it is quiet large and has three floors and wide varieties of books are available. There are many clubs inside the college where student can involve in extra curricular activities and also many events are held frequently.
Hostel Facilities
The first year hostess there are only for bed so only maximum four people can accommodate. The quality of food is average I recommend them to improve the food quality. Just after your admission process your hostel registration process will be begin. There are lots of pg available all around
Admission
I choose this college because it was the nearest Central Government College and with best nrif rankings and institute of national importance specially and that is nearly 110 km from my home which takes only 2 hours journey from train. Admission process is quite simple after the completion of jossa rounds and csab special rounds the college allots a specific date where the candidates need to come and complete the admission process in the administrative building with the documents that are mentioned in their website.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio: 1 : 100 The faculties are good and well behaved The ECE department probably has the best faculty but again that's my personal opinion. In my group no body has failed yet The faculties tries his best not to.
Interview Experience
No interview process is required, student can freely enter the college only by giving JEE mains examination I think, hard work and dedication can really be helpful for that not in interview process. So worry not.
Night Life
The night life is quite interesting. The gyms are really clean and it has a lot of equipments and canteen has a bunch of food stuff so you can enjoy with your friends. Outside there are also various restuarants and places to hangout The best sport is near the Hooghly river.
