kirori Mal College review

I choose maths because I was really interested in it since the beginning. In real life maths really helps for calculating, counting etc. and for the academic aspects maths is important and is asked in almost all competitive exams ..so it will really help. The teaching methods are already so good ...but if I wanted to give a suggestion..it would increasing the no. Of lab classes. The core subjects are of 3 hrs .. which mostly starts in 9:30 for bsc students. The level of exam would be medium.

Since I have not participated in any internship programmes i can't give any details regarding it . But if you are interested there and many internship programmes going on in the college. But right now I am focused on my college course and sports teams

In kirori Mal College we pay our fees year wise which vary . In 1st year it was 16500 but in the second year it was 15450 approx. They don't not distribute the fees as registration fees , admission, development fees , lab etc., all of the are included in the semester fees. Since I belong to st and most of my classmates are from other categories but the fees is the same for all in my course There aren't many scholarship funded by the college but University of Delhi provides some scholarship in which mostly are of merit basis and your parent's yearly income . Overall i would like to conclude 15000 for a whole year with all the facilities is decent for me . But it can be too much for some people .

The annual college is mostly done on the month of April and may which is an excellent event. The library consists of various books . We also get library cards with which we can rent books from the library. All kinds of sports are offered in the college with proper trials for the college team.

I also applied for other colleges like hindu but could not get there due to insufficient marks . After hindu , i choose kirori Mal College because it has of the best department in mathematics in all of India .h For admission you have to appear for CUET ug for DU ..and basis of your marks and your college preference...you will be allotted a college

The faculty to student ratio is good .. haven't met all the faculties so can't really say the exact ratio ...but if u need help they are easily available and approachable. My favourite would be neha mam from maths department . She has excellent teaching method. In my department i don't really dislike any faculty, they are all good and helpful . We have 2 semester exams every year which consist of 14 exams, 7 in each semester. It is really easy to pass . If u hadn't study all semester.. just revising and study the pyq can give u a cgpa of 6 to 7.

The gym for the students is in the sports complex .it has excellent facilities available and a good trainer to guide you. The college gates open around 8 : 40 and closes at 5: pm There are many street foods near the college but the most famous is Sudama chai wala
