Course Curriculum Overview

Because agriculture is an undying sector and Indian goverment is incresing the spendings each year this course is getting more demandedby public as well as private sector , that infuenced me to pursue this cousre and because i come from a village where framing s the main source of income it made me more intrested in this course. the curriculam is inclusive for all subjects including farm machinery , dairy food technolgy ,watershed technology , farm power and many more relevant subject which is prepared in the manner so it its relevant for higher studies . pratical classes lackes the equipments and is really needs more lab classes and more time spend on the field . exam are timed in each 4 months with gaps in between the exam are moderaly easy and the exam questions are only asked from the provied study material

Internships Opportunities

4

no intership oppertunits available in the collage you have to go for off campus options to get the interships . collage provides us agricultral students basic training course which is a mandotary and paid course ( 5000 rs ) which is conducted in other collages or agricultural intitutes ehich are NRFMTTI (hisar hariyana) SRFMTTI (andhra pradesh) NERFMTTI (Assam) CFMTTI (budani, madhya pradesh) it is a 1 month cousre in which basic and medium level equipment handeling is taught this is done after the secound semester and the institues are chosen according to CGPA .

Placement Experience

4

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 50770 rs . and it is fixed for all semester no change is there . exam fee is taken seperately which is taken at the time of exam enrollment .the yearly fee include * university development fund - 1500 Rs * library fee - 500 Rs * trasportation charges(per semester 1000)- 2000 Rs * sports fee- 100 Rs * basic primary health service - 200 Rs * medical insurance - 320 Rs * student co-curicular fund - 300 Rs * student aid fund - 150 Rs * alumni fee - 100 Rs * magazine fee- 100 Rs * laboratory fee - 1000 Rs * computer laboratory fee -100 Rs * department development fund - 6000 Rs * school development fund - 5000 Rs * fest/ industry interface fee -1000 Rs * annual course fee -30,000 Rs * tuitions fee(mountly @200) - 2400 Rs this all add up to 50770 rs . so the annual cousre fee is 30000 and this fees is same for all catogary students . the is a student aid fund that provide a small amount each year , which you have to apply for . the eligibilty of getting student aid fund depends on your catogory and annual family income

Faculty

facality is less in our department but recently new facultymembers has been added to our department for ensuring proper schueduling of facality time and not overlaping between classes . i presonally like Dr. Avenash kumar sir sir teches us watershed hydrlogy and his classes are very intuitive and intresting to listen to. the facality i dont like that much is hazimarul sir he is a guest facality here and lack teaching skill , but i hope he will be focusing more of the teaching aspect after he gets his Pdh that sir has been currently pursuing from our department . there are 3 -2 internal exams depending on the proffesor and assigment and attendence (75%) is mandotory . the marks from the internal examination which is genarllay 20 marks and 5 marks for assigment and 5 marks for attendence is added to the 70 marks end sem paper to get 100 marks to total for each subject .

Interview Experience

4

There was no test included during the exam, the admission I got was only based on my JEE rank. The admission was allotted to CSAB counseling, There is also JOSAA counseling through which you can get into college. After qualifying for the JEE mains exams I applied for counseling on the JOSAA website, which unfortunately I didn't get because of my low rank in JEE. Still, I got a seat in agricultural engineering in the CSAB round. The admission was straightforward as I didn't have to submit any physical documents as all of it was done online portal

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There exists a good teaching staff that's why the course is very easy to understand also teachers give us good examples also do practicals so that's students understand the course easily . I see that there exist a low no of equipments in practical lab compare to it's students ratio so if they have a good no of equipments then all students get equipment to do experiment without any waste of time . Time is good as compare to marks and the first 30 marks are beginner level the other 40 marks are intermediate level and the remaining 30 Marks are advanced level questions in a question paper for the students they published.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 7th semester (4th Year). Companies like Amazon, Legato, TCS, Synopsis, etc. visit for on campus placements. We have a very good placement ratio and average package. For CSE, the average package was 13 LPA and 92% students were placed. While for ECE, the average package was 8 LPA and 66% students were placed. I'm planning on gaining work experience for 2 years after my B.Tech and then pursue MS Or M.Tech from abroad.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is quite good, with several reputed companies like General Electric, Power Grid Corporation of India, Goldman Sachs, among others recruiting 94 percent of the students in the college. The placement takes place in three rounds, one testing one's aptitude, followed by an hour round, finally leading on to a technical round. Mock interview and job cracking sessions are organized regularly, both by the departments, and also the Training and Placement Cell, to prepare students for the interviews and examinations going forward. The Training and Placement Cell also provides internship opportunities at the end of third year for the students, based on their aptitude and abilities

Remarks:

I have mostly positive remarks about college except for the fact that the college is situated really far from mainstream north India. Train connectivity is not that strong to rest of country. But despite that the college is extremely good in the sense of learning, meeting new innovative minds, and of course placements and jobs.
