Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite good. It covers diverse topics from maths to engineering to drug delivery and during 3rd year there is a internship also which is mandatory for this course.There are 3 exams per semester 2 sessional and one end semester exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 44000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is around 40k. Exam fees are taken before exam approx 1500 Others fees and charges are included in annual fees. There are many scholarship but i am getting ishan uday one which gives 80k per year

Campus Life

Festivals are more likely to. Held in winters. AUS'KRITI and GS night are most remarkable onee. Sport's week are also conducted.there are clubs I'm not part of any so I'm not able to give info about this

Admission

I've choosen this college because this is near to my hometown. And honestly there are very less government institutions which offer B.pharm so..CUET and Non-CUET admission are there. 50% of the seats are reserved for CUET candidates.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good enough. In my department there are approx 4 female professors and 10 male excluding non teaching staffs.They are having very helpful and always ready to help the students

Night Life

There are two to three gyms. One is specific for girls.almost all the departments are having one or two canteens. One central cafeteria is also there. There are almost 6 hostels for boys and girls each.

Placement Experience:

There is no as such campus placement here but this year 15-20students got placed and i am planning for Mpharm after this course but not sure yet there are several scopes and the best one is drug inspector

My university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.

A Fresh Start : Navigating my first year in College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are there but not with high ranging from 3 - 4 L . I am not familiar with the pharma companies that visited and offered placements. Highest package would be around 6 L and average is 3 - 4 L. But i am not familiar with placements in Bachelors of pharmacy in Rgu.

Assam University is a good University

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.

Life in GIPS

Placement Experience:

In the 8th semister, students will eligible for campus placement. Our college will organize campus placement. Where different companies come and if you pass the interview then you will get the job. Companys like sun pharma, Ajanta pharma will come. And they have different requirements. In starting you will get 2.5 lakhs of the package and other offers are there. In GIPS most of the students get the placement. My plan after b pharm is I will study for M pharm in GIPS.

My university

I choose this university as my house is not so far and this is a central university so good for me. I have also applied in the affiliated college of this university as the result of cuet was late but later I got selected and joined as soon as possible. I want to apply to RTU ( RABINDRANATH TAGORE UNIVERSITY). But due to insufficient funds couldn't take addmission. My seniors are there and told me it is good university and genuine when i heard about thier marks it is very appreciable. I didn't even apply for colleges because i know my father didn't get the contract bill which i could have been to a better college but now regrets in my head every time i think about my backs Yes for honors students have to take a pre test of the subject to take honour of that subject but at that time my faculty didn't take exam but all others faculties have taken exams and given them accordingly to thier marks....Read More
