Course Curriculum Overview

4

It provided knowledge required to be a pharmacist. Most Indian universities participate in one or another centralized admission procedure. In summer 2011, an Indian institution was expecting 100% score for gaining admission, highlighting the crisis of confidence in quality of higher education in general and also limitations of admissions process.[5] 2013 National tests and interviews are organized by an independent body composed of members of the participating organizations. Little weight is given to applicants’ past academic record and more to their exam results. Applicants are ranked by exam grades, and submit their preference of universities/programs based on their rank and choice.

Placement Experience

Introduction. The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates.

College Events

Campus Life

3.5

The quality and completeness of our students education is our top priority. We pursue excellence in education and scholarship. We have the responsibility to assure that our graduates will safeguard the health of the public. There is community within the facility and staff that is premised on collegiality, mutual trust, respect, honesty and integrity. The institute is responsible to its students, staff and the faculty to help them grow personally and professionally.

Hostel Facilities

4

No. Students can avail of the hostel facility on a first-come-first-serve basis. The hostel is well furnished and comfortable. Its facilities make it an ideal place to stay and study. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Serene and secure, the hostels are designed such that students do not miss their homes. A resident warden, available round the clock, ensures that the student’s requirements are met, and also maintains decorum.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni Association was established in 2014 to solidify relations between GIPS and its alumni. The first Annual Alumni Meet was held on January 27, 2015 on the campus. A resolve was made to make this an annual event to ensure that GIPS continues producing graduates of the highest calibre by consulting those who have already gone thourough the process. This platform will be used to strategize and implement initiatives that will promote long-term growth of the institution, opportunities for networking and career advancement, increased alumni and community involvement, and financial stability.

Admission

Entrance exam, personal interview. University admission or college admission is the process thourough which students enter tertiary education at universities and colleges. Systems vary widely from country to country, and sometimes from institution to institution. In many countries, prospective university students apply for admission during their last year of high school or community college. In some countries, there are independent organizations or government agencies to centralize the administration of standardized admission exams and the processing of applications.

Faculty

States have their own admissions exams and policies. For example, the state of Maharashtra uses the HSC test as a prerequisite for entering Degree level college and uses the SSC test as a prerequisite for entering Junior Level college as well as Diploma Level College. Apart from that 15% reserved for NRI / Foreign students. Recently the medical exam known as PMT was dropped with introduction of a nationalised exam known as NEET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.
