Remarks

Admission is based on a merit basis during my session but now the admission is based on GIPS own entrance exam followed by viva and GD. For admission, to 4 years b.oharmacy program student should be from. science background (10+2) Nowadays GIPS collect more than 500 applications and based on the entrance score they allot seat good academic records and place records among all pharmacy colleges of Assam.

Gips offers various courses like D.pharm which is 2 years program and the maximum number of students alloted is 100. And B.pharm. is of 4 years course on which student intake is 100 every semester has 6 subjects including practical,l. M.pharm and Phd. Students snd teachers relation us awesome student-teacher ratio is about 14 students 1 teacher14:1

The diploma has to do 3 months of compulsory hospital internship and b.pharma needs to do 1.5 months of compulsory industrial training as the bachelor's degree is of ondustry oriented. Placement Experience

The placement record of the institute is best in the entire northeast college to provide 100% placements Final year students are eligible for the placement drive many companies visits and gave a workshop regarding the preparation for that particular company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure - in b.pharm 4 years is divided by 8 semesters each semester now costs 55000 each year fee is hiked by 5000 per semester. But as the institute is recognised by ugc, pci, and aicte we got the opportunity of scholarship of amount 30000 per year which helped us a lot

Campus Life

Campus life was just awesome, the institute has a gymnasium, common room.,canteen, well-equiped lab and library and a big playground my experience was just awesome, we used to spend our free time.In the library and playground.

Interview Experience

In a group discussion, 3 teachers took the Gd where the basic knowledge of science was checked and it is easy as the science backgrounds student have that basic idea about the zoology botany and others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.

A Fresh Start : Navigating my first year in College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are there but not with high ranging from 3 - 4 L . I am not familiar with the pharma companies that visited and offered placements. Highest package would be around 6 L and average is 3 - 4 L. But i am not familiar with placements in Bachelors of pharmacy in Rgu.

Life in GIPS

Placement Experience:

In the 8th semister, students will eligible for campus placement. Our college will organize campus placement. Where different companies come and if you pass the interview then you will get the job. Companys like sun pharma, Ajanta pharma will come. And they have different requirements. In starting you will get 2.5 lakhs of the package and other offers are there. In GIPS most of the students get the placement. My plan after b pharm is I will study for M pharm in GIPS.

Eligibility is Above 70% in HS. It can found in the official website, admission fees is 86-90k and it is available during the month of April- May. No idea about that. But i guess there is reservation for SC and ST. It already have better admission process so no improvement for now....Read More

Addmision process is very good ,there is a entrance test organised by the collage which is taken in video call . Eligibility:- 75% minimum needed to get admission in B pharmacy (gips).There is no seat reservation for any caste .it directly depend on ur merits to get admsion .this collage is one of the best collage in Northeast for B pharmacy .
