I like this college and the teachers are also good and there is good company for placement also.

This college is PCI approved, everyone follows PCI guidelines.I chose this course because I wanted to know about medicine.I was interested in knowing how medicines(eg. tablet ,capsule)are made .There is a projector in our classroom and there is also a smart class.

The college provides interships for final year students, mainly in pharmaceutical industries. Students can also apply on their own and can choose their favourite place in their favourite Pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

Placement in the college is very good.All the students appear for interviews from final year onwards.Most of the companies take direct face to face interviews. Most of the companies starting placement package 3-4 LPA and I too was selected through placement interview in the college in a manufacturing company and when my final exam was over,I joined that company.

Every year there is annual fest in our college and there are many quiz, game,drama etc. competition and I also participate in them. Library facility is also good,one library is of our pharmaceutical department and one is central library.

I chose this college because the facility is highly qualified and I had heard from my seniors that the college has very good discipline. This college is also PCI approved follows all the PCI guidelines. I had checked all this earlier because a pharmacy college has no value if it is PCI approved.

The faculty at GIPS Guwahati is good, every student gets a lot of attention. Most of the teachers are highly qualified ( M.Pharm, PhD) and have industrial experience. There is also a central animal house where all our pharmacology practicals are done well.

Hostel life is also good, there is a fixed time at night, all the students have to come from outside within that timing and there is also a canteen inside the college campus, there is no problem in having dinner at night.
