Course Curriculum Overview

As I am student of physics honours so it's a little bit difficult course but our college prepared us for the outside World like how the science World is outside the college and there is 2 semester in each year

Internships Opportunities

Delh university labs, jawaharlal Nehru institute, TATA institute of fundame research Indian institute of astrophysics these are some companies for placement Data analytics Research assistant these are some roles

Placement Experience

From 5th semester you can apply for placement There are so many companies related to physics and business studies who came to our college and find the best talent For this you have to study hard So can find the easy placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is around 19k for 3 years course the total fee is around 60k for bsc physics honours and there is no extra charge The structure is same for all categories And there are some scholarship also

Campus Life

The Miranda house life is so much fun we have a tempest every year and so many festival celebrate in this and we have a huge library also and a gym and so many sports activities for the athelete students

Hostel Facilities

The hostel menu is good and the registration process for hostel is the same time as the admission in the college and the location of the hostel is also good our hostel comes in the boundary of the college so it's safe

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

Admission

I applied for Delhi University in 2021 as a percentage base admission and i got admission in 21 college but i decided to take admission in a girls college so I take the Miranda house that is India's number one college

Faculty

The faculty at Miranda House consists of highly educated professionals, many of whom hold advanced degrees like Ph.D. or M.Phil. from reputed institutions in India and abroad.

Interview Experience

No I don't face any issue in taking admission in this college it's easy for all the students And the criteria is different for category wise I have prepared the online coaching for taking admission in this

Night Life

The nightlife around the campus is so good as there are many hostel and pg and many watchman for security and the hostel timings is till 9:00PM. And the roads are fully secure by campus police and guards

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
