Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum in my course involves certain core technical subjects as well as certain subjects which are relevant to the current technical requirements. I also have courses which are not from my branch, just to make me a better engineer

Internships Opportunities

3

In Mechanical, there are multiple companies that allow you to research in the labs set up by them, these include an ICE lab from Toyota, a mechatronics lab from Mercedes, Pneumatics lab from Bosch, EV from MG and robotics lab from Lam Research

Placement Experience

4

Placement Cell in RVCE is very strong and offer the best possible placements in each and every dept. The course structure ensures that you are employable in most of the companies that are there our there

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees paid by me - 119000/- per year (KCET) COMEDK Fee - 280000/- Management Quota Fee varies from anywhere between 500000/- to 2000000/- per year This is the fee slab for a student under the general category, without any scholarships

Campus Life

3

RVCE has over 25 active technical and non technical clubs wher one can contribute in their free time. RVCE also hosts Bangalore's biggest college fest, the 8th Mile, which is a showstopper in all aspects.

Admission

I chose RVCE over the other colleges I applied for because RVCE has one of the best Mechanical Engg depts in India. Plus the fact that I lived in Bangalore made it an easier choice as it is the number one college which is offered through KCET

Faculty

4

Faculty members in RVCE are very professional and highly qualified. Almost all professors are PhD holders and hold vast amount of experience and knowledge in the subjects they handle. The examination pattern is pretty strict to ensure utmost quality.

Night Life

2

The nightlufe around RVCE is very poor as the college is located near Kengeri, Bangalore, which is a residential area. Although all the happening places in the city are accessible by the Namma Metro which is right outside our college

Other Applied Colleges

BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering)

Too costly for similar quality of education
