Likes
- I liked the fact that girls were mostly given the chances that the guys were given without partiality.
- The sports team was allowed to go to tournaments atleast twice a year for them to be exposed in the outer sports field.
- The girls to boys ratio is less but the partiality was never shown.
Dislikes
- The cost for the sports trip would not be given by the college except for the travel.
- The ones in college hostel struggle a lot to go out after 5.
- There are many mean faculty and working ataff in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The relevance of the course is always relatable to the required outcome from the course. The subject's topics are always the required ones for the students. And the labs were also conducted parallel to the teaching classes for our better understanding.
Internships Opportunities
The intership oppurtunities for students start at their pre final year. The students are sorted out according to their credibility and are allotted to the internships respectively. I am in my pre final year and our inter ship will start after 3 to 4 months after the completion of our pre final year.
Placement Experience
The placements are offered by our college. Intially the college allots SPR(student placement representative for each class) to directly categorize students for their placement process and help them throughout it. The companies visit often to the campus and conduct GD(group disscussion) and shortlist students for the interviews and select them accordingly. We have 2 categories of the placement:core and non-core. But the negative part is not all the componies that vist our college are core companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee should be paid for each semester ehich means we have to pay twice a year. The fees should be cleared before the starting of the semester..else we were not allowed in the examination(some special cases are considered according to the seriousness of the situation)
Campus Life
The overall social experience in the college is very cool because of the presence of college xlubs, manufacturing teams and sports teams. Throught this team we can expand our social life and be happy during our college time. Some of the best friends that o have made are from my the volleyball team of the college.
Admission
I chose this college because of it's lab facilities like many of the private universities donot have a wind tunnel of their own. But our colleve have a subsonic wind tunnel where we can test our components. And the display of real turbo engines and display of the MIG jet model fascinated me
Faculty
The faculty are good at teaching but they dont do the efficient teaching for example some of our faculty teached us from internet videos and not by actually exmplaining it. But the course plan is always up to required scale.
Night Life
The students who live in the campus hostel are allowed to go around the college till night but not outside the college after 5. So its very safe of the students in the college and security guards make rounds every now and then so there is no issue. There is also a gym in our college wich is open till 8 pm and there are different cafés in our college throught which we can enjoy different types of snacks. Gor example we have dunking donuts in our college.
