Super college

The aspects that influenced me to choose VLSI course is chip designing process and the technology used in it. Course which i choose will be in such a way that it is very useful in realtime applications and the course is designed like that. exams will be frequently conducted by the faculty which ensures the understanding level of the student.

Samsung, IBM, UTS, NVIDIA, Texas, etc.., offers internship with an average stipend of 40000. Mainly deep understanding of the project topic that we selected is must needed and the tasks need to be done in an innovative way when compared to others.

from 2nd semester onwards, students are eligible for the internships and placements. Companies like Samsung, IBM, Texas, NVIDIA, Intel, UTS, etc.... visited our college and on an average 50 to 60 offers made. Highest package offered is TEXAS which is 39.5LPA for both analog & digital role and average package is 18LPA

year wise fees i paid is nearly 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Tuition fees is 1.4lakhs, caution fees is 20000, registration fees is 3000, admission fees is 3000, development fees is 10000, lab fees is 3000. Our batchmates who is SC caste won't pay tuition fee.

Overall campus life is very nice and there is no enjoyment in campus life without friends. Fests like Tathva and Ragam are one of the biggest fests conducted in the Kerala state in our college. It will be conducted yearly twice in October month & March month. Every books and journals are accessible to everyone in library through college id. Projector facility are available within the classrooms. Sports like Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Kabaddi, etc... are offered on campus.

One table, LAN connection for the fast Internet, one chair, One fan and water facility are available in the room. Meal quality and menu are Nice and they are very friendly. Registraton process for hostel will be completed smoothly and can be affordable. locality is nice.

I applied for NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, NIT Rourkela VLSI course. I got NIT Calicut VLSI based on my GATE score and category. I choose this college because of the placement oppurtunities and college reputation in getting the placements. No, I didn't got any rejection and but i rejected the admission from IIT Guwahati Communications course because I wanted to do the M.Tech in VLSI design course. Admission process for my college can be through GATE or direct admission from the college.

Some faculty are very friendly with the students and they are very much comfortable while approaching the students. I like Dhanaraj sir and I like his way of teaching and knowledge he has on a particular subject There is no such particular name of the faculty whom i don't like approximately per sem 5 subjects are there and some of them are easy and some of them are difficult. Almost every student will pass the exam and the paper will be in a way such that every student pass.

College walking area are the hangout spots, chit chatting and watching movies are the late night activity. College will provide the gym in a reasonable price with 500/- per month. Cafeteria food is also nice. There are no restrictions for hostel and campus in timings. Famous hangout places inside college is roaming on roads inside college and outside college is going to a favourite tourist places.
