Likes

As per the things said before entering the college that it's famous for fights but in contrast in our batch its very less the college area is very good and environment is also good
College area, gardens and playgrounds in college are good and infrastructure of college is average instead the evening building is good
If you join college for extra curricular activities then do join societies, the dance theatre photography faishon and art societies are so active

Dislikes

Classes getting cancelled as a ever happening thing in du classes get cancel on often basis and you are left with doing nothing
Administration of our college is bit slow but it can work

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Structure is In Bit More Towards Theory And Less Practical Exposure And It is Like Coming To Class Studying And Going Back Unless You Have Joined A Society Or Have Friends To Roam Around With, The Life Gets Stuck In the Same Situation

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It depends on which course are you doing the fees may vary from course to course but this range btw 14k yearly to 17k yearly Semester examination form fees are no included it depends on how many theory and practical exam you give

Campus Life

The college environment is good and once you get into it you will love it , seating in amphitheatre be it whole day you won't get bored as the practices for various things keep going, the infrastructure of college is bit old but can work , it have 3 grounds, ncc ground, basketball ground and football court in college with a rose garden too the college has much greenary in compare to other colleges

Admission

I choose this college as the area is pretty good and comes in good colleges of south campus+ the area wise it is big and nearest to metro gate so travelling cost is less, as per my interest of extra curricular for that it too have an amphitheatre, an auditorium

Faculty

the faculty is good of science and commerce department and even arts department too have an above average faculty some teachers are really very helpful and do help at times when you need , in one Semester in du you have to give 7 exams 3 core subjects 1 ge 1 vac 1 sec and 1 aec The attendance related issue is not so much faculty do understand the problems of students but genuine one

Night Life

The college doesn't not provide you with hostel and nearby you have to find pg if you shift from different cities, there are popular places near college to hangout with friends near college and enjoy your college life , the college is located in one of the Porsche area

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students become eligible for placement cells.I have not many ideas about how the placement works in my college, though the average package is between INR 3 LPA to INR 5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is almost 70 percent. My plans after getting the degree is going for cuet pg to get admission for postgraduation courses in Delhi... particularly JNU

LAKSHMIBAI COLLEGE - UNDERRATED STAR

A Worthwhile DU Experience

I applied to various colleges under Delhi University and got merit based admission in Dyal Singh College in English Hons programme in first cutoff. While in others, my admission was not confirmed basically because of the high cutoff like St. Stefan College etc. I am really glad to be admitted in this college which gave me many oppurtunities and a great faculty with wonderful campus. I applied for this college in first round of csas and freezed i didn't for any other college .The exam required for admission is CUET. my course is BSc physical science with chemistry and to be eligible for this course you need to have pcm in class 10+2.In cuet you need to give paper of pcm and a language is compulsory . Call of the Unbiased

Admissions are done through CUET UG and then CSAS counselling. The Science department of Dyal Singh College is one of the best in all of off-campus.
