What Students Say

Likes

Campus of college is very good with decent infrastructure.
Good facilities for playing several sports are available.
Different Fests like Mridang Yalgaar are there whichh are good.

Dislikes

Though campus is good but no tourism nearby.
There is lack of transport. Only buses are available.
Una is a developing city and lags in few aspects.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good as it prepares you for real world applications or further academic pursuits and it suggests the areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods. There are two types of exams with moderate difficulty.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall fee structure is of tution fees of 130000 and hostel fees of 43190. You have to pay one time caution fees of 5000 rupees and then these fees mentioned above per semester. This fees may increase in next year.

Campus Life

There are various annual fests that are held in this college like cultural fest Mridang, Sports Fest Yalgaar and Technical Fest Meraki. There are various range and accessibility of books and journals available in library.

Admission

I applied in this college through Jossa and Csab round and got the confirmation of admission. The eligibility exam that I gave was jee mains exam and got decent rank though which I got electronics branch.

Faculty

There is good faculty to student ratio and faculty to student relationship is quite good. There are two type of exams Mid semester and End semester exams and all of the faculties are quite nice with good behaviour.

Night Life

There is a gym available in transit house and a cafeteria available in the campus. Hostel are good with decent mess food. There are various hangout places inside and outside the college in main city of una.

students can eligible for placements from any semester if they have the perfect skills otherwise mainly placement starts from 6th to 8th semester , this year placements after recession period are going well students are getting placed in good companies like quizziz , coinswitch etc. average package is about 15-16 lakhs

JUIT- beautiful place

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements. Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs) 100 get between 5-10 lakhs And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs

7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

THE BEST COLLEGE AS OF MY DREAMS

Placement Experience:

after 6th semester the placements begins at NITH many Tech companies visit at NITH like Amazon , Flipcart, Paytm,samsung,oracle ,infosis etc.The highest palcement package is 1.73 crore in 2023 and average package is about 15 LPA about 80% of students got placed and also many of students opt for higher studies, i try to get placement if i get and not then go for higher studies

The real review of JUIT

Placement Experience:

Opportunities for placements are quite well. Before COVID lots of companies came for placements and post the number of companies was reduced. I want to join a company after getting my degree. I am not interested in higher studies.
