Course Curriculum Overview

4

I'll rate it 4/5. Specific aspects which influenced me to choose these course are practical subjects and applicability of course in real life. As my course is bcom in which i learned tally which is basic for every business man to record and manage his accounts and ledgers and all. It prepares us well for real world applications. Their should be more practical lectures rather than theory. Frequency is two and timings of exam are for 3 hours.

Internships Opportunities

2

Interships opportunities are their in college but not upto mark which can be choosed. I dont know about it in detail because i am not interested in interships provided by college. So i am unaware about it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i pay yearly is around 11000. Yes college provides scholarships for students to minimize their fees. If a student score good cgpa, students have to pay less fees then in comparison of others. My category is general so my fees is nearly 11000 but pwd fees is around 200 and in comparison of general SC/ST/OBC pays less fees. Yaa, college helps students by reducing their fees so that they can study.

Campus Life

3

My overall experience of campus life is not what i deserved or expect. Yet it is nice On basis of social aspects is nice. Club involvement is also there in college and infrastructure provided are not good. Annual fest of our college is lehren which occurs in summers. Range and accessibility of books and journals in college library is high. College library is nice. Classrooms are not well designed or painted and there are not smart boards or projecters in every classroom. Sports facilitates are very good and extracurricular activities also.

Admission

I applied for almost every college of university of delhi in which bcom and bcom honours was their. I couldn't made to college in which i want because of my preference list which i didn't made perfect it was not upto mark. Admission process is little long as it conducts entrance exam and then various forms are to be filled. Eligibility depands on course which you choose but most basic is you must be 12th passout student. Wxams which are accepted for my course are accounts , business statistics and economics. Cutoff depands on college in which you have to take admission My overall admission experience was fine.

Faculty

5

Faculty of college is very nice. Teachers are cooperative. They understand problems of students and help them in various ways rather than just teaching. They encourage them and support them to build their career. Faculty to student ratio is also fine. Name of some faculties which i like are Rajni mam, punam mam , shiran sir, monika mam, , alka Chaturvedi mam. There is no such faculty which i disliked. In year 2 times exams are conducted. One in December- january and 2nd one in may-june. Difficulty level of exam is medium and rarely students get fail. Course curriculum is relevant.

Night Life

3

Nightlife in or around college doesn't makes us feel like we are in college area as it is situated in residential area. So nightlife is not that good. Gym are there inside and outside college. Cafeterias and liabrary too. There is no hostel in college Campus timings are from 8.30am to 5pm. Famous hangout inside college is park area and outside college no such hangout places near college. Yes locality is safe to roam around college in night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Placements are pretty much above average in our college, better than many of the off campuses colleges as well as some of the South campuses colleges. * students are eligible for campus placements from the very beginning of their college. From the first year itself. * Companies such as Delloite, Genpact, KPMG and many more tier A, tier B and tier C companies visits to our campus. *Highest Package is 21 laks PA * Average is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs * Being in the placement cell i can assure you that there are n number of profiles offered. * Obviously planning to getting placed through the college itself.
