Likes

In college the classes of per week is very less so if you want to prepare for anything, can do
Campus is also beautiful, and arround the campus many places for enjoying
Exam paper is also normal, so you can easily clear and focus on other any thing

Dislikes

Arround the campus very high paying Market, and for eat anything is not good
Campus placement is very very bad condition
In one room of hostels 5-6 students,so this is very very bad for everyone

Course Curriculum Overview

My aspects for the curriculum, is good because of college is give the maximum times for anything if you want to do, and My branch is civil engineering, this is good and may be by 2nd year curriculum more good

Internships Opportunities

Internships in college is good, their are many opportunities for internship, so anyone is interested so can do, other colleges like IITs & top NITs available intership in this college not big companies.

Placement Experience

In this college with the civil branch, placement is very bad, we say arround the 4 LPA, so placement is very bad, but with the civil engineering college is good, because In civil many of government exams, and college gives you time for preparation

Fees and Financial Aid

College is good but the placement in the college is very bad, on the sites it's showing very high respectively.... So if want to get only place so not good this college, but if you have backup plans so college is very good.

Campus Life

College campus life is good, if anyone want to enjoy, everything available in college, and less socialed college, and clubs is very bad, and not any good place for any program, and college infrastructure is normal. College campus is beautiful with their outer beauty of Kashmir

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not give any facilities, and also bad hostels by the size, in every room 5-6 students, so very distracting everything, and library of college is very very small, in college students approx 7000 but seats in library only 200, so you think how to manage students all these things

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

I am going for civil engineering, because I am interested only in civil, and by the rank I got this college, and the admission process is very good in this college, with the respect of facultys, so addmission process is very good

Faculty

All Faculty is normal, and some good some bad, but overall is good, and marks sceam is depands on professors, some of facultys is not give good marks but some is give good marks, and question paper is normal

Night Life

There are no nightlife in college, in night any shop is not open for anything, and in the night anyone can not go to the out to hostels, and in night students can't go outside the hostel and not overall bad night life.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Nit Srinagar the heaven

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th. A score of 96 - 97 p;ercentile is enough for an OB/C or General student and 93% -90 perccentile for SC / ST students.
