I pursued B.sc in mathematics from Daulat Ram College as I found maths to be very much related and helpful in real life. Also while taking admission I analysed the syllabus and assessment criteria which was very much interesting. The curriculum includes all mathematics aspects and various theories of famous scientists which help us in understanding the subject matter more clearly. The exams were conducted semester and assessment was made in such a way that it assesses every students strong and weak points.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.
