What Students Say

Likes

Labs are well equipped, they contain good quality pcs and constant internet connection
Faculties are nice, you can connect with them anytime for any problem
Library Is top class there is everything available from digital to hardcopy of research paper , novels , books etc

Dislikes

Canteen is ok - ok. The sitting capacity is also ok-ok
Gym is Ok. It can be more well equipped.
Intake per year. College takes 1000 students which can be reduced to 600

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. It teaches us practical+ theoretical knowledge in balance. There are atleast 2 labs subject each semester. Also we can opt Honors in our degree. We have subjects other than engineering as Open Elective

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 221500 per year

Internships Opportunities

JP Morgan, appollo, Google are some company which provides internship with good stipends. Projects are given in college for every laboratory subject, such as building website ect which can be shown to companies

Placement Experience

Placement are good. Average package is of 12-13 lakhs. College support placement drive. If you do not want to go for placements you can go for higher education, for which college regularly conducts session in 6-7 sems. Also for entrepreneurs college has its own incubation centre for startups

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees of the college is 2lakhs 21 thousand and 500 only. If have scored good in exam you can avail TFWS seat which has fees of 35000 per year only. Also gujrati minority with certain incomes can also have scholarship personally through college

Campus Life

Campus Life is pretty good. There are many clubs, committee in which you can participate. There are dance, music, journalism, etc committes to showcase your talent. The official college fest Tribity invites many of the celebrity and you can enjoy the night

Admission

First of all this is the best private college in Whole west zone of India. It is top private college in Mumbai. It is well reputed, it's avg placement is good, it has good alumni connection.Also I had enough score in Mhtcet to secure a seat

Faculty

There are Three Main Exams during the semester m First is Term Test 1. second Is term test 2, and In the last there is END Sem. Both term test are of 15 marks for each subject and Endsems are of 60 marks for every subject. Also There are atleast 2 labs per semester which is good for practical knowledge

Interview Experience

In group discussion we have committes like minsoc which include group discussion on global and technical topics. For admission you have to score above 98 percentile in MHTCET or in Jee main. Also you can get admission through minority quote of gujraties

Night Life

Nightlife is not so much good as it seems . College Is closed at 7PM( gym is open till 10 pm). As many students come from far away they leave early. There is as such no night life.Hostel is outside the campus so it is open till 11 PM . Famous hangout places are arvind , etc

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. A great place to learn and grow

1. First of all I got the Thadomal shahani college of engineering but I didn't took the admission in this college because I want to wait till the last round of CAP process. 2. Further I got the betterment i.e.AIML in DJ sanghvi college, which is good in placements as compared to Thadomal shahani college Of engineering, also the environment of study is too good in DJ sanghvi college. 3.There are two ways to take the admission in DJ sanghvi college, first through JEE MAINS and second through MHT CET. Students those who are stays in Maharashtra are mostly prefer MHT CET exam. The cutoff for Computer Engineering in this college is above 99+ percentile in MHT CET or 97-98 percentile in JEE MAINS. 4. DJ sanghvi college is an autonomous college.
