Course Curriculum Overview

4

Exams are too easy. Nobody can fail in these exams. Just have to pay attention in class. I don't think so there is requirements of any changes in curriculum. It almost covers every thing we require. Just coding is a bit difficult.

Internships Opportunities

4

Interships are going around in campus . Also seniors send useful links and groups to join . Giving us knowledge about the paid courses which can boost our resumes. Also there are seminars and webinars regarding them.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is too good. It starts just after 1st year. Placement is 100% , everybody gets it. Many companies visit our college. I don't know the exact count but there are many. Maybe i will look for a MBA degree .

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees -200000 Development fees and other fees - 21000 Student insurance-125 No management quota SC , ST fees - 2125 OBC - 1,25,125 OBC GIRLS -21,125 General-221125 EBC scholarship is applicable if Student has got admission in cap rounds and annual income is below 8 lakhs

Campus Life

5

There are many student clubs and events going round the year. Yeah but the events pause when seniors have their exams. But after it is resumed . These student clubs vary by interest and domains . Everybody who wants to join has to pay membership fees.

Admission

I didn't got seat in vjti and spit as i was a general category student. So i took admission here. I got admission here in ils round. In cap i took admission in Thakur college . Major drawback there was minority student get seats with very low percentile

Faculty

4

There are too many faculties per subject. Almost there are weekly tests and practical every week . Exams are not that difficult. Hardly anybody fails. Overall examination is not so hectic . Syllabus is well divided in both sem.

Night Life

4

I dont know about the night life . But it has gym , cafeteria, and library .Gym is good but has too many restrictions. Shorts are not allowed. And you can gym for an hour only. Cafeteria is good but too expensive and food is not that worthy.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
