NM college is one of the best colleges in Mumbai and not only in Mumbai, it is also among the top 10 commere colleges in India. It helps the students to develop their personalities and provide amazing experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very unique and practical. There are 6 semesters. Each year has 2 sems. There are internal and external exams in every sem. The internals are of 25 marks and externals of 75 marks.
Placement Experience
The best thing about NM is the training and placement cell of the college. They provide internships as well as placements to the students. They also arrange for soft skills classes for the students. The stipend for internship are around 5k - 15k per month and for placement it is around 5-6 lakhs per year.
College Events
We have 2 college fests. 1) Umang - cultural fest 2) Insight - Business, finance and Economics fest. Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very feasible. It's around 18,000 for the self finance courses (SFC's) which include BMS, BAF, BFM and BScIT . For Bcom and Junior college it is much lower around 6000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of scholarships which can be availed by the students. A notice is put up on the notice board and also circulated in every class by the college. So that the students eligible for the scholarship can avail it's benifit
Campus Life
There are a lot of extra-curricular activities in NM. The students get to learn practical knowledge apart from classroom studies, which help the students to build their confidence and help them to build good networking.
Hostel Facilities
The college does not have it's own hostel. But there are a lot of hostels which provide good facilities near the college but they might be expensive for some. There are also a lot of PG's and Flats near the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumnis are very helpful and talented. Most of them are doing very good in life. They are always willing to contribute to the college and to the students of the college. They have great personalities and amazing college experiences to share.
Faculty
The faculty is very friendly and approachable. They are always willing to help the students in academics as well as personal matters. They are always willing to solve doubts and take extra lectures. But are strict about attendance.
