RK Talreja College: Merit List, Admission 2024, Courses, Fees, Placements

Ans. The general eligibility for unaided management courses is that the student should have passed the HSC examination of any stream or equivalent examination in the first attempt with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category). For B.Sc IT, students should have passed HSC examination of Science stream with mathematics or Commerce stream in the first attempt with at least 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category).

Ans. The documents required to be submitted are as follows:

• 3 photocopies of HSC Mark sheets (Without Attested),
• 2 attested photocopies of SSC mark sheets
• Leaving Certificate along with the ORIGINALS +2 passport size photographs Photocopy of Aadhar Card or Receipt and Photocopy of E-Ticket
• Add DD Xerox.

• For ST/SC/OBC/SBC/NT/VJNT/DT Category Students, 2 Attested copies of :

  • Caste Certificate
  • Ration Card
  • Income Certificate or form no. 16.
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Noncreamelayer certificate
  • Caste validity certificate
  • All mark sheets
  • Aadhar Card
  • Student's own bank a/c passbook (for unaided courses)

Ans. If a student informs the institution before commencement of the academic year, that he/she wants to withdraw his / her admission & that he/she cannot continue his / her education in the college for certain reasons, the institution shall refund the tuition fees, Laboratory fees, if any and library & Laboratory deposits, if any, in full. The admission fees shall, however, be retained by the institution. If a student desires to withdraw his / her admission after the commencement of the academic year, the institution concerned shall retain the admission fee, term fee, and the laboratory fees (if any) in full. 

Ans. The first term has 110 working days and the second term has 122 working days. Hence, the total number of working days is 232 days. The midterm break is generally from 13th September to 17th September. The Diwali vacations are from 6th November to 25th November, and the Christmas vacation is from 25th December to 1st January. 

Ans. The documents required along with application forms for the above-mentioned scholarships are:

• Attested photocopy of the Caste Certificate of a student. 
• Attested photocopy of the School Leaving Certificate. 
• Attested photocopy of Statement of Marksheet.
• Original of Annual Income Certificate stating Basic Pay, D.A., H.R.A., C.L.A., etc. and its deductions. If Parents / Guardians are in Private Service or Business, the annual income certificate issued by Tahsildar is to be submitted. 
• Attested photocopy of the Ration Card.
• Attested photocopy of Domicile Certificate in case of girls freeship if the place of birth is other than Maharashtra.
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in case of students applying for O.B.C./NT/SBC Freeship and Scholarship. 
• Attested photocopy of the receipt. 

Ans. RK Talreja College provides many facilities to its students and faculty. Some of them are:  

• The college campus is spread across an area of 4 acres (2 acres main building + 2 acres extension).
• There are a total of 51 classrooms and 17 laboratories, in addition to 3 seminar halls. 
• Library: The library houses 114586 textbooks and 162 reference books. It is fully computerized giving internet facilities to each computer. In the library building, a separate room with a computer and internet facility has been created for the staff and students who are doing research.
• The infrastructure also includes a gymkhana and an open auditorium, as well as a botanical garden.

Ans. Only the M.Com course offered at RK Talreja is a Choice-Based Credit System as well as has Semester system Course Structure.

Ans. Yes. RK Talreja College trains students for examinations, such as NET, SET, etc. The reviews from the students of the college point to it being a wholesome, enriching experience.  

Ans. No, RK Talreja offers all its UG & PGcourses morning shift only. The timings for its BA and B.Com courses are 7:10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. While for the B.Sc. course, it is 10:35 a..m. to 2:40 p.m. 

Ans.No, electronic gadgets or mobile phones are not allowed on the premises of RK Talreja College. Students have to maintain the decorum of the college and must always wear their I card.
