Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is comprehensive and relevant, its easy to understand as well and pretty intresting but at the end those are all jujst theories, so more role play exercises, practical experience is really important, which 1 teacher among 3 provides a lot, so its fun to learn that way

Fees and Financial Aid

Okay so fee wise, it is pretty reasonable, and the reservation students get the whole three years under 20k at max, for me as I belong to general category, my fee fror FY was around 13125, then the SY fee was 13,341 so very similar and TY fee was 35000 something as mine is an unaided course. People with reservation had to pay 7-8k each year except 3rd year when they had to pay around 11-12k so yess overall pretty reasonable

Campus Life

4

SO, i have been into 3 different commitees since I was here and even particpated in Rotract clun, the social aspects are really goo, we even have our gaqnpati bappa that comes in every year and all the activities that happen throughout are really fun, in fests, only marathi actors whom you dont even know will show up, but overall, its fun, the library majorly only has books for the science filed, for arts there is only 1 shelf, but the college has a reading hall which is really a good place to sit and study for as lectures sometimes even have a 3 hour gap

Admission

Okay so I was the school topper and could have gotten into any college i wished for, I really regret taking admission here, when i took it, it was only because I saw it in the top 10 and was near where i live, but i regret this decision every day! till SY its really good only, but dont come here in TY, people even dropped out due to her

Faculty

2

So, our batch is the 1st one which has 50 students, and there are 3 teachers, they give personal attention to everyone and make sure everything is covered before time, about the exam, the college follows the syllabus and marking scheme on their site, which is the same as MU and is pretty good, The HOD is brutal and has made the class a living hell, do not come here, we really keep having breakdowns in front of her and she goes- Dont do this in front of me, so ya she is just inhumane and doesnt care about your mental health even while teaching psychology

Interview Experience

3

No nothing was asked, admission is solely based on your merit score, for admission in TY- psychology, they look at your average marks for 4 semesters and then a merit list comes out, seat intake is 50 from this year including all the categories

Night Life

4

our college has a huge badminton court, a gym with sauna, the cafeteria is very small but still decent enough has good variety but veg non veg shares the same kitchen so i dont go there as I am a Jain, coming to the hangout places, thats the best part, so we have Ruia Katta where people sit and talk throughout and DP's,Ramashray, Manis are really close to college so we go there, and DP's always has a great discount before 12 pm so its affordable, and Mamajis frankies and Panini's are really yummy and cheap and last but not the least we have Subhash Uncle's chocolate sandwich, he uses the ingridents with all his heart, people are very sweet.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Jai Hind College is among the top 3 colleges in Maharashtra and not only academically; Jai Hind College is best known for its extra curricular activities too. The atmosphere and the environment is just so great that nobody would want to leave this college. The faculty of this college is supremely well and the non faculty members are also extremely helpful. I’m honestly thankful to this college for helping me grow and for helping me get out of my shell.
