The infrastructure is so much good and labs are fully air conditioner the class rooms are very good
The teachers also use the projects for teaching students the teachers are also friendly and good
The management is also very friendly and workable they pay attention towards the students

Dislikes

The ground is under construction sports are not going on
College have class room have no ac except labs
There is lack of fest and other programs

Course Curriculum Overview

I got that course which I want I give cuet and my score was good and I got ba hons. In geography subject I like geography because in this we learn about the geography of world and specially about India I learn about population and geography I like this subject I choosed this subject because I want to make my future in this line I want to become a professor of geography in good institute and want to make the bright future of students..

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying about 15000 rs per year and my benchmates also paying almost same tution fees The registration fees is normal not too much high, the development department is also developed and it doing good work for college There is no lab fees the labs are also so prepared and maintenanced I have many college friends who belongs from different places and categories they have different fees The college is very fantastic and good

Campus Life

OrIn this college the fests are limited but there are many annual programme I attended one program this was at onam festival I liked this programme in this programme there are dances performance and singing The library of college is very good there are about thousands of books and the books quality is very good The classrooms have project black board and white boards this classroms have good fans and windows and benchs are good and comfortable

Admission

I give cuet for taking addmission in delhi university this is my dream to take addmission in du my score was 396/600. I got Swami shardhanand college du in ba hons. Geography This is a off campus college I want to take addmission in north campus college but due to high cutt offs in ba I got this college but I liked this ..

Faculty

The faculty is also very responsible towards the students there are about 100 faculty members who always ready to solve the problem of students The professors are very attentive and problem solving I like their character and nature Almost all teachers take the weekly and monthly test properly and solve them later They also perform the labs and practical and make understand to students

Night Life

The college is on little outside from delhi so there is no more places to enjoy the nightlife or other activities which are done at night but there is fulfilment of nature and we can feel the beauty of nature there are about 7 gym library are also there Our college have no hostel facility

DSC is a decent college!

Placement Experience:

DSC placements are not that great as around 30-40% students are placed and that is how it is here. Most students of Political Science go for higher studies or get job opportunities in political consultancy or journalism.

Gargi : A home to a stranger

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love the course I have opted for in the College. I had so much interest in literature since I was in school, hence made the decision to opt for English Honours in my undergraduate degree. The curriculum of this particular course is easy to get, teaches practical knowledge. We have Internal Assesment and Continuous Assessment before theory exams. In continuous assessment, we are given some topic to make presentation or a group discussion from our sense of knowledge and experience. Speaking up in a crowd and in front of the whole class gives the practical knowledge of being there, present, confidence and speak up your thoughts I would love if we can also watch theatre within the curriculum as we read various plays but watching and analysing them would be great. Mostly the exams are held in December and May, they are moderate level of examination and I have found absolute no difficulty sitting in them and writing. We get 3 hours for the core subjects, and 1 hour for our respective VACs, SECs and AECs.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
