Likes

Some of the zoology faculty were best in DU
Museum is very good they have all the specimens required
Library facilities are very good books are easily available

Dislikes

Crowd is not as good as I expected from a du college
No college trips even though we had trips in our syllabus
No ground, no sports activity, poor infra structure the new building is not open

Course provide in-depth knowledge of the subject at bachelor level it prepares you for your masters. Practical play a important role. It doesn't make you industry ready but helps you build up your base. Exams are not too difficult

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees around 13000 Exam form each semester around 1000-1500 College trip if any 45000-75000 These are the basic things there may be other expenses also like society contribution for different events

Campus Life

College does not hosts any big fest, as it is a off campus college there is nothing much fun to do except going to C.P or Daryaganj Crowd is not that great as they are mostly involved in politics, there may be some fights in college stay away from that rest is good.

Admission

Addmission process is very easy give CUET UG exam and apply through DU portal document processing and few payment is done very smoothly. Consider NIRF ranking of diffrent colleges before choosing a college

Faculty

There are some excellent faculties in zoology department but some are average lab staff is very supportive. Exams are okay you can clear it by studying previous year question paper Not too strict about attendence

Night Life

College closes ate 4:40pm there is nothing to do near college, no gym no club , college canteen is average you cannot eat there daily not very hygienic The locality is not at all safe to roam around at night especially for girls

Beginning of a new life- Hindu College

Placement Experience:

There is very rare placement for my course in my college. If you want any placement, you have to do minor in some other subjects like economics and statistics. You can masters after that and then PhD. Then you can become a great mathematician in future too. Most students are thinking to clear the Upsc and other government exams after the graduation. If you want to any placement you have to score around 9.5 cgpa in your 6 semesters.

Placement Experience:

Placements usually start after the second semester. A variety of companies like Byjus, Namo India, Urban Calp, ICICI, DE Shaw, Oberoi groups, ABP news, Thomas Reuters, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus every year. More than 200 offers for jobs are made every year and a lot more for internships. Packages for jobs offered vary from 2,00,000-12,00,000 rupees. The campus placement cell informs the students of the jobs offered and the packages. About 10 students out of 50 take up the placement rest from the chemistry honours course goes for higher studies for the preparation of civil services.

College - The best part of life

Remarks:

College overall management is very good, helpful and supportive. All queries and concern are addressed on priority basis. All announcement and activities communicated timely. College staffs, professors and management are really very helpful and supportive. My experience was very good however i would request admin to expand and communicate their sports level program so that maximum students can participate, grow and their hidden talent can come out by these opportunities.
