It is competative it will help for your post graduation entrance exam preparation that is neet pg you will be getting more paid when you have your post graduation degree rather than only undergraduate

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

First year 67000 + 12000 hostel + 3000/month for mess Second year 59000 hostel and mess fee remains same Third year and fourth year same For SC/ST every year you have to pay only 8k to 10k hostel fee and mess fee remains same it will be refunded after some time you will be getting free books stethoscope apron sphygmomamometre if ur income is less than 8 lpa

Campus Life

Clubs are not there yearly once there will two weeks of sports meet and Ganesha festival kannada rajyotsava and annual fest compared to other colleges events are somewhat less but it's fine you are not distracted

Admission

You have to appear for neet then attend counselling conducted either by kea or mcc according to your category and state I didn't chose but kea allotted this and I don't have any other option rather than choosing this

Faculty

National medical council issues a common competency based medical education (CBME) That should be followed by every college you can refer to it's website exams are difficult compared to other courses such as engineering

Night Life

For boys hostel is open for 24/7 for girls first year within seven o clock pm other batches upto nine pm You can explore thousands of beaches around 20km radius there are hidden waterfalls which is a bliss

The latest curriculum is good and easy for students . I dreamt of becoming a doctor and thus achieved through my parents support and my hardwork(cracking NEET) So course is of 4.5yrs + 1yr of internship total 5.5yrs You get 30000/month as stipend for 1year internship

Mbbs - more than just a degree

Mbbs is a really tough course we have to be mentally prepared for the course and it takes a lot of hardwork and consistency to complete this course and it's not about the money we get paid later medical is a noble proffesion I chose this course to become a really good doctor and serve the society. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose these medical profession, because I have passion and to help the needy people to keep their health in good way. This college helped a lot to learn about ways to help the needy people by early clincal exposure and by teaching the technique of medical emergency things. We have university exam yearly once which will be easy and application based questioning level.

I chose this college as per my ranking in neet exam. I could get better colleges but I was mesmerised by beaches the climate and its vicinity to Goa. I applied for colleges like Belagavi Insitute of Medical Science, Hubli KIMS , Bellary VIMS for which the cutoff was high hence in available options chose KRIMS,Karwar disregarding Gulbarga(GIMS), Raichur(RIMS). So eligibility exam for MBBS is offcourse NEET U need less than 7k rank through AIQ. And less than 45k rank for state quota....Read More

Review of Karwar medical college by a random first year student.

MBBS course takes eligibility via a national level exam called neet. The cutoff for my college was all India rank 52000. The application form for the college is provided by the state government of Karnataka for state quota students which is 85 percent. Remaining India quota students take part in mcc national-level counselling. The application fees depend on the quota and reservation categories. I had no reservations so to write the exam I gave 1600 rs. To take part in state counselling it was 500 rs. For me going through the state quota, the info came on the kea official website for neet counselling. People with caste certificate which shows low income and their caste will get benefits based on the caste....Read More
