I chose this college as per my ranking in neet exam. I could get better colleges but I was mesmerised by beaches the climate and its vicinity to Goa. I applied for colleges like Belagavi Insitute of Medical Science, Hubli KIMS , Bellary VIMS for which the cutoff was high hence in available options chose KRIMS,Karwar disregarding Gulbarga(GIMS), Raichur(RIMS). MBBS course takes eligibility via a national level exam called neet. The cutoff for my college was all India rank 52000. The application form for the college is provided by the state government of Karnataka for state quota students which is 85 percent. Remaining India quota students take part in mcc national-level counselling. The application fees depend on the quota and reservation categories. I had no reservations so to write the exam I gave 1600 rs. To take part in state counselling it was 500 rs.
