I also applied for the bangalore medical college and Research institute but unfortunately because of less ranking i didnt make it to that college but i even applied for bidar institute of medical sciences . As compared to brims i found rims to be better option because of the patients flow for better learning in rims we have 500 bedded hospital and many other 250 bedded hospitals. Average patients flow of rims is around 2500 per day as compared to brims which is around 1500 per day And the cadaver which every medico waits for dissection Brims with 150 strength has 5 cadavers where as rims has 8 cadavers with same strengths which provide less crowd and helps us to look at the cadaver and learn without difficulty Bmcri also has 8 cadaver but with 250 strength . Neet is the exam to get admitted into this college Cut off for bmcri with hk is around 6000 ranking And rims is around with hk quota for general students is around 55000 and brims is around 60000.admission is done throught kea

The course is very much detailed and comprehensive. We usually spent our time experimenting in the labs. They were obviously very hectic and tiring. We have to prepare a lot of data, analysis of the experiments.

The curriculum is inevitably specified and scrutinized for research purposes. We were busy making projects and presenting our work to the faculty during the programme. It takes a lot of hard work and research to complete the programme.

The MBBS Course is for the time period of 4.6 years with 1 year of compulsory internship. All the PG Courses like MD Pathology, MD Microbiology, MD/MS Anatomy, etc. are for 3 years with 1 or 2 intakes for each.

There are a lot of positive remarks- The college provides an exposure to the students, teaches them to stand on their on legs. The faculty are supportive but sometimes can be devastating as well. The internship is a bit hectic though.

Positive- many, cannot list all of them. Few of them include - -good exposure to patients in internship. -nice exposure in curricular and extracurricular activities like sports. -greenery around the campus -good infrastructure Negative remarks -very hot climate -water related problems in the premises -lack of cafeteria around the campus

Overall, our college is best at providing quality medical education and nurturing budding doctors to strengthen the existing medical services of the state and our teaching hospital also provides exposure to clinical skills and acumen.
