Yes the government provides a lot of scholarships for the students stydying in government medical colleges. Loans are also available in the State bank of India whose one of the branch is situated within the college.
Since I was a General Merit student and had not scored great marks in my 12th, I wasn't getting any scholarships. But many people get scholarships based on category and merit. This scholarship is provided by state govt and MHRD. As far as loan facility is concerned, I don't have much idea about it.
Our college is a government autonomous instituition and hence whatever scholarship we get will be from the government.we get scholarship from social welfare department and backward classes department respectively to eligible candidates.
Fee refund scholarship for backward classes as well as various merit ,caste based scholarships can be availed on own effort and elligibility.can apply for education loan in banks on own interest.but no any specific scholarship or loan facility by the college itself
