Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS curriculum has been reviswd from 2019 batch. Its called revised cbme curriculum. It focus more on early clinical exposure , adding AETCOM to improve patient doctor relationship. There is many SGD SDL to improve learning experience. OSCE are intoduced to improve clinical knowledge and skills. Communication skills are also given importance. I wish there could have been lot more division of number of students as it will help to increase the clinical exposure. In every year 3 internals with one final exam is conducted with thoery and practical

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees: Univerty fees-9350 Tution fees- 50000 Cultural & others-5000 Applicatio. Fee - 100 Examination fee- 200 Digital laibrary- 1500 Research fee- 200 Total- 66350 - AIQ students For kea students - 67100 For sc/st with low income <2.5 lakh - 17100 For sc/st without low income<2.5 lakh PA - 67100 Hostel fees: First year- Room rent - 1000/ month=12000 Admission fee- 500 Hostel.fund - 1000 Hostel caution deposit - 11,000 ( 10000 refundable) Mess advance -9000( refundable) Total = 22500 Subsequent year : rent : 12000 Mess: 3100/3000 per month depend on the days

Campus Life

The college is is really good. There is a central laibrary present which is moderate in size. Almost all medical related bookms are available. The fest you will get here are : Freshers party, ganesh ultsav, annual day ,.holi, arts day, kannada rajyolsav, graduation day, culturals, competitions. The other funtion depends on special occassions. Holi is intresting here as it will be celevrated in beach. Sports is conducted in 2 weeks here with both indoor and outdoor games. It will inter batch and its really spiritful. There chances to go and play for zonals interzonala and rguhs games meet. Football cricket kabbadi volleyball basketball chess are main in college. There is student council present in the college.

Hostel Facilities

There us both girls and boys hostel. They are situated near to college. Its6 floored hostel. 3 per room available. Attached toilet are available. 2 cupboards, tables and chair are available. 2 Hot water pipe is available in every floor. Room is spacious. Driking water is available in every floor. 2 lifts are available. Mess is average. Per day 100 rs. Food is average. Breakfast include idli , dosa , rice , upma , poha , poori . Lunch will have rice chapati smabar any vegetable side dish with curd and pickel cury can be dal in somw day. Dinner is also same Weekly twice chicken is available, for vegetrtians gobi or paneer. Weekly once boiled egg. Evening snacks available. Tea or milk or coffee available. Sundya there is no dinner. Its affordable.hostel as it ner to hoapital and college

Admission

I had applied to many colleges. I got admitted to AIQ My AIR in neet was 12298 in 2020 neet. My score was 618 out of 720. I kept this college because of its easy to access from kerala You have to write neet to qualify.

Faculty

You will be getting a mentor per 7 students. There is not that much faculty student relationship as its a medical college. The faculties are pretty good. The exams are usually yearly. 4 exams for 4 years. In between 3 internals will be conducted in every subjects both thoery and practical to give elgibility. The exams are moderate in difficulty. There is supplementry exam within 2 months. Results are announced fast. The curriculum is revised cbme curriculum and here it is RS4. Its mostly based on clinical exposure and more to practical side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
