I liked mbbs from my childhood so I choosed this course new cbme curriculum helps us to real world applications teaching methods can be increased by adding more faculties and infrastructures exams are moderate level and helps in clearing finals

Internships Opportunities

Medical college intership is about 6months experience various pg courses in these months and select it according to ur future here lecturers helping u to choose ur path and create experience but exposure is less compared to other college

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a private seat which was for 11 lakh now it is increased by 12 lakh i don't have any scholarship total for 4 and half years it is around 60 lakhs of u go through govt quota it is 3 lakhs for that u can get scholarship merit based

Campus Life

Campus Life is good annual festivals are good which are conducted by seniors availability of books in library is less old books are available facilities and technology is poor sports and extracurricular conducted by seniors it's good no clubs but insta handle simsrc council

Admission

I applied for aj college and somehow it got cancelled so I choosed this. This is pretty decent about faculty and teaching so I choose this I had very low neet rank so i had to get through private seat admission to this college is by clearing neet and entering through kea kcet or mcc all india quota

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is less student faculty relationship is good and are strict I like almost all faculties except few microbiology lady faculties are the hatest 3 internals are conducted and are easy if we study

Night Life

Gym is available near cafeteria are few because it is a remote area library is in college itself hostel and campus timings are very strict so prefer pg hangouts are very few locality is very safe to roam around

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Medical college with the best infrastructure in India

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

Firstly, since manglore was closest to banglore I considered joining this college. Secondly, since I had a reservation ( under linguistic minority) the chances of me getting a seat in this college would've increased hence the choice.however, It would be unfair if I didn't talk about the very friendly staff and infrastructure of my college. Though medical colleges can be very stressful Srinivas medical college always finds way to implement fun along with learning. All the other activities conducted in our college ( sports day, foundation day etc) helps us take our mind off the stress we develop from studies and help us relax. The teachers also put in a lot of effort in helping us reduce the stress and cope up with the vast portions. The laboratory facilities are great too.
